Well, it seems there are a few people who are upset that they missed the Mystery Box sale yesterday. Thankfully, the world kept spinning.

I've come up with an Idea to hopefully help a few people. I've come up with my own mystery box sale. This might work, it might not.

I'm asking for a $100 donation + shipping to ElwayVedder's Operation Yellow Ribbon (OYR) charity as the cost for this mystery box. (we can figure out shipping if you are one of the buyers) In return you will receive:

1 - Washed but never worn Pearl Jam t-shirt (size Large only)
2 - Pearl Jam posters (these have been stored flat and will be in mint/near mint condition)
2 - Official bootlegs (1 2000 and 1 2003)
1 - Guitar pick (Mike, Jeff or Ed)
2 - 7" Pearl Jam vinyl
+ Various stickers - perhaps some show specific ones?
+ Anything else I come across that might be cool to send along

I'm offering up two (2) boxes to start as I already have a good idea of what I will put in there. If there seems to be further interest, I'll try and put a few more together.

Personally, I would pull the trigger on an offer like this in a heartbeat. :)

If you want to Participate, here's how you do it:

Please send ElwayVedder a PM that says "I Want To Donate $100 To OYR!" I'll tell him to give instructions to the first two successful participants only. Everyone thereafter he will inform that the two boxes are pending. Once you send your payment, I'll get him to confirm it with me and I'll get in touch with you.

I will be using Canada Post. For overseas, there will be no tracking or insurance it will be surface mail so expect up to 6 weeks for delivery. North America, full insurance and tracking will be included. I'll be using Air Mail/Expedited Parcel.

We'll figure out shipping costs once I get these items in a box and weighed at the post office.

Hope this works and thanks in advance to those who participate.

    Yes. On my "Activity" wall for all to see.

    EDIT: Just found out that ElwayVedder is out and about so he probably won't reply to PM's right away.

    Also, I added a second bootleg to the mystery box.

    I hope people will get on this. Won't know though until later I guess.

    This is total BS, Can't believe I missed out. The power goes out for 4 hours and I miss a mystery box....lame :)).

    Just an update:

    Both Mystery Boxes have been compiled and packaged. They will be heading to the post office tomorrow and shipped. I will get back to the two successful participants with shipping costs afterwards.

    Glad we were able to have some fun with this and raise some funds for OYR. Hopefully we can do this again in the future. Sorry I was only able to do two this time. Maybe in a little while I'll do smaller ones that also cost less. It will still be equally as fun.
