    How much vacation time do you get?

    What is your favorite thing to do on vacation?

    Anything beach/water related. Whenever I'm near the ocean, the constant thinking, worrying - the circus that lives in my mind - dissipates slowly and I am able to be serene. My mom's parents & sister were born in Ireland - Kinsale & Scilly, a tiny seaside village in Southeastern County Cork. I truly believe that it's in my DNA - being near the ocean feels...right. My family goes down the shore each year for a week (4 hour drive from home). A perfect day there would be reading a novel by a favorite author (hardcover) on the balcony as I take in and take pictures of the sunrise over the water; take a walk along the water's edge picking up shells, driftwood alone or with my son while it's still quiet; do something new - para sailing last year or an oldie and goodie like crabbing; spend the rest of the late afternoon through evening on the beach reading, napping, swimming and body surfing the waves, hanging out on a sandbar (real one), try skimming or surfing (again) =)) ; catch the dolphin pods travelling south, watch the sunset; have a bonfire at night (it's illegal now, but i love them). Write and then read until i fall asleep.

    What is something you do on vacation that you really don't enjoy, but do it because it's a family/group activity?

    Piano but would love to play guitar or uke or something. Can't play piano like I used to since my hand surgery but I think I could play guitar. I miss making music with other people so much.

    No I don't think so..I have a little dream about becoming an actress..oh well...(this made me think of the movie Tangled and the scene in the pub when they are singing about having dreams...haha)

    I'm wearing white soft cotton clothes, pants and blouse (I'm working as a nurse) it's comfy actually :)

    Yes, it's ok with ketchup and mustard maybe a little mayo/cucumber also.

    You too with the cucumber on a hotdog? Maybe I should try it? But no, I won't. Definitely not.

    Right now my favourite song is I Remember You, by Skid Row. Such 80s (power ballad?) cheese and bad hair metal, but something about it I like. His voice maybe? I listened to it about 10 times in a row a few days a go, and I never do that. You'd think girls would like that song, not a guy, lol.

    Got to go with Return of the King even though the ending was lame but they screwed up something in all three parts, just got to chalk it up to Hollywood.

    Generally let it all hang out. I'm hardcore into rocks, fossils, gems, minerals and METEORITES! And I let it show. So much so, that I have kijiji ads asking people to show me their rocks, give me their rocks, talk about rocks, blah blah blah... totally out with my rock geeking.
