no, but i do have a thing for stones, a spiritual type thing, certain stones/rocks catch my eye and i feel i was meant to find them - different strokes and all.. i have pieces of the Berlin wall - but that's actually concrete...

    That is so cool!

Yes. I do believe that some people have good luck and some people have bad luck (just ask the little black cloud that doesn't think I know it's waiting over my shoulder). You can work at making your life better and not give in to pessimism =)) but some people just hit the jackpot on the way up to their room; while others are standing behind the guy whose ordering breakfast for 20.

on that metaphorical note - have you ever been to a casino?

yes - many times - we go down the shore every year for a week (we being mom, son, nieces, bil (and my sister till this year =(( ) We stay in a condo right on the beach at the very end of Diamond Beach - so i've done the ghost tours, many restaurants, even did horse drawn carriage - my sister bought her wedding dress there. my mother, myself and my son always go to Cape May Point as our last stop before driving home at the end of vacation. We go a week from today, actually. Oh we buy our seafood at a place right over the Cape May bridge - went parasailing in Cape May last year. Have stayed in Cape May before we had kids and started this annual trip.

Do you feel a little uneasy about the 911 memorial museum having a gift shop even if all $$ goes back into running the museum

i have no problem with the gift shop. I do not feel it is disrespectful and the museum needs to be funded somehow. I went to the memorial 3 weeks after it opened - got tickets on-line months prior. Saw the steel cross that's in the museum through the windows of the, then, quite unfinished museum. It costs hardly anything to visit the memorial and just a bit more for the museum - They had a gift shop for the memorial about a block away and when you walked in, people acted like they were in a library. There was audio and video playing and personal artifacts throughout, Haven't been to museum yet - just opened to public - but it is much the same atmosphere.
Now the party they threw - i have a problem with that.

Nothing gets delivered to my house I live way to rural for that, it's a little of both but I got to say nothing really beats disappearing into the physical paper until you've read the entire thing.

Do you go somewhere at least once a year that is completely off the grid?

JWPearl - this is not TPBM thread. hahahaaha. i respect your effort however. THis is just a thread where you can ask anything. it doesn't have to be about the person below me (although, it inherently is kinda like that)

I do love the One video by U2. Live music videos are awesome. Such as, Alive! Or even ones that "act" like they are live such as "Naveed" by Our Lady Peace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG4KnYSaLZw
Have you ever wondered if U2 initially named their band U1?
