I grabbed a Tom Petty's She's the One used vinyl for $40. It was in pristine condition. I think that's about my best score.

I don't know if this is my best score, but in the summer of 2003 I got a Riot Act LP from, of all places, the bargain bin at the Virgin Megastore Times Square. It was closing shortly thereafter.

Bought "Yield" on the Bay in 2004 for $35. A few weeks later I found "No Code" for $15 at a local record store. Those were good days.

Forgot - purchased Yield a week before it was released for $10. Local record store guy new I collected PJ and called me when he got his copies early. Best part - new the songs prior to the radio broadcast that weekend. Ah. Memories.

Every PJ record I bought at the time seems like a bargain now.

1 copy of VS. 2 Vitalogy, No Code, Yield and Binaural free. I got 2 because I would get my dad a copy as well. He gave them back this a past year. The rest were bought when released

I got Benaroya Hall LP set for $35 plus shipping...;)

Haha, yeah, I got Vault #3 for $45, Sevens for $55, and a coke bottle Ten for $30! :-bd
    Whoa, me too!

As far as secondary market goes, I got a mint copy of Binaural off eBay a few years go for $80 because the person selling it did a terrible job posting it (his listing description was awful) and the auction completely flew under the radar and I just happened to stumble upon it.

In 2004 one of the local Tower Records stores was closing and I went to see what I could find a couple of days before the doors shut. Sitting all by itself on a shelf was Lost Dogs for $16. Walked out the door feeling pretty stoked! On the secondary market I found a sealed copy of Avocado from a small online store for $125 in 2012. SO glad I picked that up when I did! It's the only PJ vinyl I have that's still sealed. Can't bring myself to break it open....

Benny, Sevens, Vault 3, PJ20, white Backspacer for whatever 10c was charging at the time.

Yield, No Code, Riot Act, Lost Dogs, original Vitalogy during the early 00's, about 10-25 euros each for new copies. Lost Dogs might have been a bit more.

I got a sealed Yield from discogs for 50 bucks in 2012. It popped up late at night, and I just jumped for it. Scored a No code there for a little bit more around that time as well. A couple of Tenclubbers collected money for my holy grail a couple of years ago as well, and this way I came into the possession of a Riot Act. For free. Thanks to the wonderful people on here. PJ_Soul is another fellow member here who made mine and Cav's day when she gave her spare copy of a red LB to us for free. Well, and I got the Coke bottle Ten and white Backspacer for face when they got sold. I'm loving all these stories here. I hope one day, I "stumble" upon a cheap Benny somewhere too...

i picked up pearl jam let me sleep/ramblings at amoeba records hollywood in 2006 for the grand old price of $14.99.

Wow, I also remember picking up a copy of Let Me Sleep at Amoeba Records Hollywood for the same price in around 2006 when I was living down in LA. I thought it was a mistake. Somebody must've dumped off a few of them not knowing what they were.
no shit, eh? i got mine when the band were in l.a. for that tour, maybe the day before the first show. i wish i remember exactly where i found it, but i know it was in a bin- it wasn't on a shelf or anything like that- i just came across it flipping through the stacks.

if i didn't have this experience, i probably wouldn't have bothered acquiring all of the singles. after i got let me sleep, though, it was like 'well, now i have to find the rest'.

Yeah, I had no hope of ever finding that for under $100 so to find it for $14.99 was a find. I thought it was a bootleg or copy but it is definitely the real thing. Amoeba has a huge 45 section and I found it under "P" as I always checked. I think I also found it that summer of 2006 which would've been around their tour. I saw them at the Henry Fonda where they played a free radio contest winner show for Indie 103.1(now off the air I believe). I didn't win but I just waited outside the theater and they let us all in for free after about five songs.
