Hold on was actually Ten era. I'm almost certain that's Krusen drumming on the track but Ed's vocals were redone.
Yeah, the credits in the Lost Dogs liner notes have Krusen playing drums on the track.

What!?! I always thought that was Dave A on drums. Sounds like Dave A. I didn't think Dave K could drum like that.

I've never understood how Leatherman was left off Lost Dogs, but Last Kiss made it - even after it was on Rearviewmirror. How can it be a greatest hit AND a Lost Dog? Leatherman was perfect for Lost Dogs. Even Whale Song made the track list.

Having avocado and back spacer be two albums. Waaaaay too much second rate stuff imo.

Yeah, we all have our favorites that other people don't dig, but I don't get the pent-up love for Puzzles and Games. It's just Ed mumbling, more than typical, and the quiet part of the song is really quiet. Do people really like the song as it is? Or do they think it has the basis of a great song if it was sung and mixed properly?

what about "Hey, Foxymophandlemoma That's Me"

This isn't meant to be good, it's just a psychedelic outro. I think it was a great way to end Vitalogy.

I don't know about you all, but leaving Hard To Imagine off of Vs was a mistake. Such a great album and if HTI was included....even better.

Hmm. Sort of agree. Still love all Pearl jam songs I can get my hands on though :)

Not making MirroBall 2 is an error.

The strange beep in Given To Fly.

    Where is this?

    no shit about that...
I think the version on the Jeremy single is great. Guitar, vocals.. perfect. If it was recorded in the studio you'd end up with the added harmonica like the lost dogs version, or a drum track. All that would take away from the simple, clean and incredible live version.

The strange beep in Given To Fly.

What and where in Given To Fly is a strange beep?
And what about "Cold Confession" not making Avocado? That's a big error in my book. But a song like "Big Wave" did make it on there? I don't get it.

    1. Not sticking to original Light Years demo version (Puzzles & Games)
    2. Down & Undone not making Riot Act
    3. Sad, Fatal, Education not making Binaural
    4. Spoken word Bu$hleaguer

I disagree with every point here. :)

Plus I think Lost Dogs would really be lacking without Down, Undone, Sad, Fatal, and Education. Meanwhile, I feel like Binaural and Riot Act are absolute perfection exactly the way they are, and it actually irks me (you know, the way that differing views about PJ albums is irksome, lol) that folks want to mess with the track listing of thise albums, including Bu$hleaguer, which is one of the very few spoken word songs that I like - the spoken word contrasts with that awesomely creepy and strange chorus perfectly IMO. :) I also feel that Can't Keep.is one of the best album openers in their entire catalogue (and it is fucking awesome live I think!).

I think that Backspacer in its entirety is Pearl Jam's worst studio error, followed closely by Future Days.

I'm sorry, but am I the only one who does like "Mophandlemama"?
Great jam song, and the spoken girls dialogue makes it very interesting.

I dig it. That girl's (woman's?) voice practically haunts me.

You lost me completely when you said that Bushleaguer was a mistake. That song is strong any day you go back to it!!!

Wow. Bushleaguer and mankind are both tracks the band is embarrassed about.
