    I felt badly for the kid whose penalty pretty much decided the game. I know that stick awareness is part of the game -- he was busting ass and playing really well and just had a brain fart trying to make a big hit. My wife (big Flyers fan) was being pretty harsh with him (and it was a dumb play) but I thought Claude's slashing penalty just after was worse. He is a C and should know better.
    First 2 periods had good action -- this is going 7.
    (I stayed up late to watch my Kings get shit on. Least the Flyers game was a good game.)

    Schenn's penalty to negate a PP was costly because they were playing their best in the 1st period. That kid played better than half the team and had the only 3rd period shot.

    Mason practices today!

    Emery didn't play too bad considering... Obviously penalties hurt us in the last period especially that double minor. Also what about 15 shots on goal??? I think we can even the series on Sunday :-)

    Pathetic display of diving/embellishment by the Rags so far...shows in the discrepancies of PP's . Some dumb Flyers penalties, but most have been ticky tack crap.

    Looks like the Rangers are copying the Penguins motto. If the Flyers keep playing more physical than the Rangers, they can take this series.

    absolutely and we are destined for an overtime game in this series. I think the series is coming down to Friday night overtime and the team that wins it will win the series.

    enough of the announcers making excuses for Giroux. guy went over 100 shifts against the Rangers without a shot on goal. how is that even possible? made one good play last night but have been mostly invisible. a so-called MVP candidate can't be invisible. he needs to step it up in a huge way for the Flyers to win this series.

    McDonald was a steal by Holmgren. great pickup. Timonen is pretty much a shot player. nice career here but probably time to retire after this season.

    The PP is dreadful. Rangers are attacking Giroux when he has the puck and no one else is moving. Any shots attempted are being blocked or forced wide. Gotta start moving the puck around.

    At even strength all shots are coming from up top, nothing down low. There is absolutely no cycle game or presence behind the net.

    I didnt watch the end (Kings came on....shit!) but I thought the Rangers' passing once again was far superior. Feel like the Flyers need to work harder at disturbing the Rangers' flow.
    I am not a Giroux fan but damn did he take a whooping last night -- he was targeted constantly.
    Also, that fight that Jake started was hilarious. (And the Flyers ended up with a PP out of it.) I love it when guys that dont fight try to work it out like that.
