I disagree, but maybe I am one of the few that wants it. I agree that the other studio albums should come out first, but I want see a repressing of LD.
im not in favor of re-pressing anything, unless it is completely "different" as far as packaging, vinyl color, etc.
Would rather see the release of "new material" on vinyl such as live stuff or the next generation of B-sides. Also would like to see some video releases
Why does it need to be different?
But yes, I'd rather see more new things on wax. Preferably more Vaults or pressed versions of some select shows from the past 14 years bootleg programs.
I dont know. I guess its the chase. The extra "perceived" value of a rare item without having to go extra lengths to prove it was a "1st press". Also, those who purchased/traded for over the years would be screwed over big-time... and those who have "flipped" the original presses would make out big-time.
I am still missing a good chunk of the catalog in vinyl. Been building slowly. I dig the "chase" and once you do land one, it is awesome.... and yes, I spin the hell out of them including Benaroya. Into the Wild, for example was very rare/coveted. Then they re-pressed it and the "majesty" of it was lost a bit. I wouldnt mind re-prints, as long as they were differentiated enough from the originals to preserve the collectibility of those.

yeah, not going to pay more than 50 US dollars for an album.
Whoopdeedoo, just got a shipping notification from Newbury comics as well
Buuuut, upon further checking - it's for the maroon & black swirled Bleach I ordered earlier. Anyways - wohooo! The Ten should come soon after that, cause the Bleach was supposed to arrive on Apr 8.

Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
WTF? Well then, made a mistake ordering from 10C. I bet those of us who did that will see these a month later than those who ordered from Newbury.
That's one scary looking smiley, PJ_Soul! )

I'm guessing since Newbury is producing them that 10C probably has to get their 1000 from Newbury, then send them out to 10C members after that. So the people who ordered from Newbury would get theirs around the same time as 10C gets their 1000, and then the ppl who ordered from 10C would get theirs after that.
shipping e-mail confirmation just received from newbury.
That's weird you just now received your shipping confirmation email from them. Monday morning was when they pretty much sent out shipping confirmations on these vinyls.

Wow, they answered me already. Said because it's a pre-order there is no charge until shipping, which I get, just got anxious seeing people get their shipping confirmations already.

I guess I should preface this with, "yes, I got one".
The value on this thing will drop faster than my pants on prom night...for those looking, hold out. Some of these trades are a tragedy and a joke. Anyone willing to trade a Lost Dogs for this record needs to have their head checked after getting kicked in the nuts.
I feel sorry for the poor bastard that paid $300+ on ebay for one.

Lol. I don't. They're now going on auction for around $150 - $160. I think anyone who didn't wait for prices to fall deserve to pay every penny they spent in their buying frenzy.
