And I doubt they are ever going to put out a Super Deluxe Edition of "Lost Dogs"...
So probably it will never be reissued...RedMosquito02 said:I guess I should preface this with, "yes, I got one".
The value on this thing will drop faster than my pants on prom night...for those looking, hold out. Some of these trades are a tragedy and a joke. Anyone willing to trade a Lost Dogs for this record needs to have their head checked after getting kicked in the nuts.0 -
I bet Lost Dogs would get reissued before Rearviewmirror, PJ20 or Benaroya ever would.0

Ding Ding!boyo79 said:Can't wait for the next limited edition release and the same thread that goes with it. We know PJ love to release a ton of mer h nowdays - some of it good, some terrible. We know a percentage of people will buy this stuff to flip/trade. Bottomline is if people are willing to buy something on the secondary market for $250 that cost an intital $30 2 days ago then the only people to blame are the people encouraging flippers.
This should be the end of the thread, because this is the answer.

I think that's a very safe assumption, that LD will never get a deluxe/re-release.Spoken said:And I doubt they are ever going to put out a Super Deluxe Edition of "Lost Dogs"...

Why? I don't think it's a safe assumption. Given the material on there, it's the most likely of the non albums to get repressed.
But yeah, a deluxe for it would be silly and I don't think it would happen. But I do think a regular reissue will.

LD getting reissued? very doubtful, think of all the other albums and work (that should) get reissued or done first, including vaults, dvd's, boots, etc... No one is really interested in a LD repressing, I don't think so, but I could be very wrong. It seemed like at the time it was a "here's some b-sides" and that's it vibe.Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?0

im not in favor of re-pressing anything, unless it is completely "different" as far as packaging, vinyl color, etc.
Would rather see the release of "new material" on vinyl such as live stuff or the next generation of B-sides. Also would like to see some video releases0 -
I disagree, but maybe I am one of the few that wants it. I agree that the other studio albums should come out first, but I want see a repressing of LD.

Yeah, I was of the assumption pepple wanted this album. The hundreds of dollars it goes for on ebay agree with me.

Why does it need to be different?MayDay10 said:im not in favor of re-pressing anything, unless it is completely "different" as far as packaging, vinyl color, etc.

But yes, I'd rather see more new things on wax. Preferably more Vaults or pressed versions of some select shows from the past 14 years bootleg programs.

I dont know. I guess its the chase. The extra "perceived" value of a rare item without having to go extra lengths to prove it was a "1st press". Also, those who purchased/traded for over the years would be screwed over big-time... and those who have "flipped" the original presses would make out big-time.
I am still missing a good chunk of the catalog in vinyl. Been building slowly. I dig the "chase" and once you do land one, it is awesome.... and yes, I spin the hell out of them including Benaroya. Into the Wild, for example was very rare/coveted. Then they re-pressed it and the "majesty" of it was lost a bit.
I wouldnt mind re-prints, as long as they were differentiated enough from the originals to preserve the collectibility of those.0 -
yeah, not going to pay more than 50 US dollars for an album.0

You're not getting 1 album. But 2 albums. Ten & Ten Redux!buck502000 said:yeah, not going to pay more than 50 US dollars for an album.

WTF? Well then, made a mistake ordering from 10C. I bet those of us who did that will see these a month later than those who ordered from Newbury.LeafsJaysCubsRaptorsFan said:With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Whoopdeedoo, just got a shipping notification from Newbury comics as well
Buuuut, upon further checking - it's for the maroon & black swirled Bleach I ordered earlier. Anyways - wohooo! The Ten should come soon after that, cause the Bleach was supposed to arrive on Apr 8.Post edited by Leezestarr313 onPlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
I can't wait for Music On Vinyl to go re-press all the PJ catalog in 2015 on coloured vinyl. It's going to be nice0
