Hands down my favorite post in this thread.
YIELD was made in 1998, and 8 years later it's still the greatest fucking album ever made. So, yeah, we fucking want to hear a shit ton of YIELD songs played in the 'Natti.
And for the record, we're getting "No Way". I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life.--"I'm like an opening band for the sun"

Well said, my friend. Why even bring up Luminas? CAMARO is the automobile of YIELD. We need to get the YIELD signs printed up soon to send to the 10c. Maybe a petition would work....No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0 -

Honestly, who compares YIELD to a Lumina? But you're right about the signs/petition....June 24th will be here before we know it.--"I'm like an opening band for the sun"

ok. well, it goes without saying that the Natti and yield have some intrinsic, cosmic, total and utter relationship. i am not calling this into question nor taking away from its legitimacy. BUT...are we sure that THEY know about the yield/Natti connection?
in practical terms what i'm asking is this...am i considering a midwest show just on the theory that i'm getting a whole boatload of yield??

"No Way" WILL be played. It came to me in a dream.--"I'm like an opening band for the sun"

my friend and i held up a YES WAY TO NO WAY sign last night. stone saw it, loved it, and acknowledged it. it is not happening though. as much as my yieldlovingheart wants it to be true.take your money and your drugs.0 -

Oh ye of little faith. Some people also said "Leash" would never be played again, and now the band seemingly can't stop playing it. My dreams have powerful skills of prognostication.--"I'm like an opening band for the sun"

You have to put in the work, hence the reason for this thread. We need to come up with a plan for this so the gentlemen know what we are trying to accomplish. No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0 -

my pleasure. i'll bring it back again soon. the boys need reminders.YieldInHiding wrote:You have to put in the work, hence the reason for this thread. We need to come up with a plan for this so the gentlemen know what we are trying to accomplish.
it's $508 for two tickets into the Natti. this is looking less and less likely.take your money and your drugs.0 -
While I'm wanting the majority of the setlist to be from the Avocado, I think a good amount of Yield songs would fit nicely into the catalog!! I'd love to hear Brain of J, Given to Fly, In Hiding, Faithful, Low Light, Do the Evolution, and All Those Yesterdays up there with Worldwide Suicide, Life Wasted, Severed Hand, Unemployable, Gone, Army Reserve, Come Back, Comatose, Parachutes, and Inside Job!! Hearing all these songs from these two albums for the night would be an AMAZING show!!! Let the Yield Campaign hold true!!

Am I a terrible father-to-be for taking my expecting wife to a Pearl Jam show?
PBM
If the number of pregnant women I've seen at my last two Pearl Jam shows (Tampa 2003 & Kissimmee 2004) is any indication, then I say 12 weeks is hardly a risk at all.
I swear I saw women in the upper levels in Tampa who were in their third trimesters.

Where's the "official" Cincinnatie Vitalogy campaign? The only people we should try to get even with...

Why? In my opinion, Vitalogy is the better album. I like Yield a lot, but I'm not in favor of having an overabundance of those particular songs at that concert. The only people we should try to get even with...

Then, you're in the wrong thread man.
We're on a mission from God.

To each his own...I wouldn't mind hearing Tremor Christ in the Natti between PILATE and FAITHFULL.No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0
