    I think I may have posted on here before, but I am so hoping to hear "Sleeping by Myself" in Seattle! I love this version every bit as much as the uke version.

    Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my 2,000 post, then posting about this song!! :D

    Happy as hell to get it on Thursday...even happier to hear My Father's Son on Sunday...but my two teensy weensy disappointments were that I heard SBM again, but no Let The Records Play...and I saw Why Go twice (LOVE IT), but no Deep? So in LA they played Ten and LB in their entirety...minus Deep and LTRP.

    I guess I have to have something to root for in the future, so it's not entirely bad news!

    I'm finally ready to join your little club, if you'll have me. I admit that I really did not get the full band version on LB initially. I never skip it, I just prefer the sad and lonely feel that the single uke gives to the hopelessness of the lyrics. However just watched the YouTube of the San Diego performance and I'm now a convert. I love it! The roughness of the live performance is what I needed for this song. Hope I get to see it some day!

    It was weird for me, it was so instant. Already knowing it from the UKE record I "knew it" but the addition of the full band just adds that certain something to proceedings.

    I think people might think I'm fronting a bit here but I am genuinely putting the record on at sleeping by myself and letting it play to the end a hundred times more than the full album.
    Nothing wrong with the other 9 songs, just a bit addicted right now.

    I mini toured and saw and heard every song on Lightning Bolt except Sleeping by Myself

    However, I did see the first show of the EV tour in 2011 in Providence, and SBM was the opener.
    I think I like that version better.
