    They invited me to come out for a week on this tour ... but I just couldn't get the time off. She gave me late notice. I can't wait to hear about their conversations with Ed.

    Ha ha ... this is the usual reaction I get when people find that out. He is a real nice guy. Very reserved around our family - he saves it for the stage. I'm glad that he and Eddie hit it off. I've always asked him if he has or has heard any stories about Pearl Jam. I guess he will now!

    Wow, that is indeed very cool, Chino is part of the family.

    loved all their stuff up to white pony - they were amazing, I kinda lost track of them lately, but around the fur, adrenalin and white pony were all magic albums

    You aint' lying! I'll tell you what ... though. I won't try and sell you on all the albums after Pony ... but Self Titled is absolutely the real deal. Probably the most underrated and comprehensive album in the Deftones catalog. It's their Yield ... for lack of a better term.

    thanks for the recommendation - I will definitely grab it next time im in town.

    I think I got their debut, seemed to pave the way for Coal Chamber a little.....
