    Anybody ever find out who designed the bird and/or the swinging lights? My favorite stage setup since the Starting Lineup/Batwing days.

    The "bird" and the lights are here in Australia for the Big Day Out festival tour. I have photos of the bird and will post them here if someone can explain to me how to post a photo in here. Thanks.

    i thought it was BAAAAAADASSSSSSSSSSSS. I didn't actually see it moving but watched with some (horrified) interest as the 6 crew guys climbed up with harnesses and sat in those terrifying seats up above on each side.

    it looked like old bits of metal before it was lit up.. i did take a photo but i know i filmed it while they did sirens.

    image I guess they were operating lights? not sure? certainly no idea why they had to be up there in what looks like my worst nightmare, but.. eh. good views.

    Noticed it moving between songs in Melbourne but not during songs. It looks like it's made out of old recyclable materials. For what it's worth it rocks!! Love to find out who made it. I was quite close in Melbourne. It would be interesting to see what it looked like from further back!?

    Sure it's slow, but I do think it's suppose to be a bird flapping with it's wings.

    However would I have been there, I reckon I might have missed it as well.
    Too caught up in the music to notice that sort of thing.
