Fakes are usually fairly easy to spot. through the print quality, the sharpness, the detail, the thickness of the actual pick, the shape of the pick, and the material used.

Fair enough. From a collectors point of view I see your point. I didn't get to see them until 05 (and that was up in the rafters) so anytime before that would have to be bought. I have caught a few pics at different shows but never PJ. A few of my friends won the lottery and I got a mike pick but it just isn't the same without the story behind it.

I have one of Mike's from 1992. this was before customized picks. It was a turtle. It has value to me but no one else because no one is likely to believe its his.
