LeeAnn,
Your WRIGLEY WALL looks GREAT!!!!
Nice job on the EMEK QOTSA one too...LOVE the silver with orange accent in your frame!!
:ugeek:
Thanks, Dave! I need a longer wall so I can fit the other 2 Wrigley posters, too! The mural is in another room, too. It has been hard for me to figure out how to finance the poster wing and all the posters and framing!
Have you figured out how to frame all your stickers, yet?
Can't wait to see your next masterpiece!

Where's the New Year's party at?
I'd say let's go in together and BUILD us a PJ POSTER MUSEUM... BUT we would still run out of wallspace eventually!!!
I've got kind of a quirky idea for framing my tour stickers, gotta play around with the idea a little bit before I take it in to Julia & let her work her magic on it.
If it works out, I'll give you a preview

I'm working on an IDEA to make the Seattle poster FRAMABLE...It may not be the next one I do, but SOON!!
And thanks for the compliment on the Pittsburgh frame job...
This one and my Wrigley are my 2 favorites at the moment!!
Here are the pictures again if you haven't seen these:

Thanks! I am actually in Jacksonville. I love this print too. I was super lucky to get an AP print. Munk One crushed it on this tour.
I got it framed at Hobby Lobby.
I have my Vedder Orlando 2nd night in the shop. I can't wait for that one to come back. It's arguably my favorite concert poster ever.Pearl Jam - ST. So would the museum be in Findlay, OH - halfway between us?
Mine will be in the basement and yours will be upstairs with the armed guards!
I was lucky enough to be able to buy the whole sticker set from elwayvedder for his charity, so I'm anxious to see your idea for framing!

Do folks who have posted in this thread get discounted admission?
Seriously, it would be awesome to see both of your collections in person.
On a side note, my daughter has named the kid on the Cracker Jack poster Billy Bob and the dog Jack or vice versa.

I think that is a great idea, Dankind! That way we'll get even more people posting in this thread! I love seeing how people frame things differently! It may take awhile for the museum to get built, so if you're ever in Ann Arbor, you are welcome to come by and see my collection! So now we can have bigger pictures? This thread should get a lot better in the future ten.... Testing:
Edit: That was a very large image and the board software resized it and made it non-clickable for a larger view. Oh well, still makes it easier than trying to resize every image just to be able to post them here."Populated with every reject and cutthroat from Bombay to Calcutta. It's worse than Detroit."0 -
Love this poster! Your framing enhances it! Also, love how much easier it is to post pictures now!pulling69 said:So now we can have bigger pictures? This thread should get a lot better in the future ten.... Testing:

I've never used them before but a lot of people HIGHLY recommend American Frame for affordable mattes...derbydave said:jtr101" said:I'm sure its in this thread somewhere but is there a good/cheap source of mats online somewhere???
Here's the matte webpage:
http://www.americanframe.com/Department ... Board.aspx
Hope that helps :ugeek:
I checked out their site, and to frame a poster would cost roughly half of what I paid at a retail store, and that was half off! Can American frame cut a matte told hold a poster and other items from the show, or no? It does not look, based upon the site, that is an option. I have not contacted them, though.0 -
I've never used American Frame...but I think if you want to add other items to your frame job, you'd probably be better off taking it to a local store and have a framing professional assist you!! Check with jlaustin or smanchac...I think these guys have used American Frame.
Hope this helps!!Post edited by derbydave on'96: Seattle: Key Arena

Those all look awesome, MedozK! The Eddie signed Memphis poster is gorgeous! Love your Mudhoney! I got one signed by all the band at their Detroit show this past year. Funny story, had to wait for them to get signed because Guy left his bass at the hotel and had to go back and get it!

The Mudhoney show was great. Nothing like a little 'Touch Me I'm Sick' and 'Sweet Young Thing Ain't Sweet No More' in a smaill venue. Their energy was off the charts.
