I just heard from an insider that those 2 box sets will be released in spring of 2014... I also heard that they will be pressing 1000 copies of the Wrigley show on a 4LP vinyl box set for fan club members only. I hope it is true because I'm dying to get soundboards & vinyl of those amazing shows.

Has anyone else heard this rumor, can you confirm it?

you know what, who gives a shit....after standing in line for hours at both PJ20 and Wrigley to get shut out on 3/4 of the merch because of this recent limited edition shit, it pretty much broke me.

no more show posters, live vinyls, not interested (more for everyone good for you), nothing is accessible to fans anymore for this band. I is all these fucking lotteries and limited marked up prices shit. Benny had 2000 in the run, but based on how many the ten club has released for good causes of late there sure as shit was not 2000 available, so a limited run like sevens, and if this was true 1000 plan on more like 500 being actually available.

All the bitching(myself included) this board has done in the name of fairness has made things way worse. I find getting anything related to this band harder than ever to get, especially tickets.

I also kind of find it hard to believe that they would release both of these around the same time frame in the spring next year. If it is true what they plan on doing with these, I would figure they would more than likely stagger the release of each.

Gotta keep one stashed away for a rainy day ya know.

I agree with this completely and have been actually saying it myself for quite some time. As far as the "rainy day", I figured 1 or both of these were going to be there retirement fund once the time comes that they decide to hang it up. With no new albums or tours, what better way to drum up some money for the band during retirement?

    Hopefully.

But I won't believe it until I see a 10c email hours later after it's sent and then check the store to see the words "OUT OF STOCK".

Don't worry about possibly missing out.

Some fellow 10C member will buy one and then realize they are low on funds and have to then graciously offer it up for sale here on Lost Dogs for 700% over what they paid for it.

It will be ok though, because they're a good dude and fun to hang out with! :?

Exactly. Why in their right mind would they release both of these around the same time frame? I mean, I want these boots and hope they are released at some point as much as the next guy, but from a business standpoint why would they release arguably two of some of their most anticipated bootleg/box set "releases" around the same time? Wouldn't make any sense at all.

I would figure at most, they hopefully release one of them soon within the next year and then would expect them to stash the other one away for a rainy day when things are kind of slow.

Nonetheless, I just hope these are released at some point and hopefully sometime soon within the next year. By all means, if them taking some extra time to put together something nice like a box set with vinyl or some DVD footage along with it - then I'm all for that too. If they do something like this and they do release something along these lines, I certainly hope they don't put a number on it and limit it.

I've literally been drooling over the thought of Alpine boots since Labor Day Weekend 2011.

Would it make sense financially to release anything in the spring? Considering it's in between the "down under" and Euro tour dates I don't think it makes much sense. Especially since the 2013 NA boots will probably finish up their weekly releases by spring.

I think they could look for a pre Euro tour/post LB hoopla release to bump interest in both of them. Would seem a little early fr both though.
