i think the only saving grace was that it was july 4th week... everyone at the show had to travel there, and not many people go to the desert in july...i talked to my buddy before the show yesterday and he said it was approx 105 degrees?
basicly people dont go to vegas in the summer...it is way too fucking hot...they go in the cooler seasons0 -
I think it was just the timing. I would have probably gone to Vegas if it was on a weekend. But it was right after the 4th of July and a lot of people can't travel to Las Vegas in the middle of the week. They probably should have held the show at the Aladdin. It's a smaller venue that holds around 9,000. I seen NIN there in April. Bottom line is that a lot of other shows are falling on weekends and that's more appealing to people who travel.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

The World Series of Poker is going on. People would rather spend $200 playing poker than tickets. Remember back in 98, I think, they had to actually change the venue to the Thomas Mack Center cause they didn't sell that many tickets for the bigger venue.San Fran 92, San Fran 93, Berkeley 93, Indio 93, Fairfax 94, DC 95, San Fran 95, DC 95, Va Beach 98, Columbia 98, Dc 98, Va Beach 00, Columbia 00, Philly 03, Bristow 03, Chicago 06, Chicago 06, Dc 06, DC 080

there were not "many" everywhere was full except the far back opposite of stage in the uppers maybe 500-750 max. If you look at touringfans.com only 6 of the 167 that signed up are from the Vegas area. The weather although around 100 degrees was actually very nice for this time of year not 110-115. This is a party destination and 1 of the few shows that you dont have to get in your car and drive home/hotel after its over (except me).0
