    Have Sirens playing in the background for the 4th time and caught myself just smiling that here is a PJ song that I dont "know" yet. So fracking cool to have new music out there for us and then to think that when we next see them play there will be a handful of new firsts.

    Send some positivity to get some in return, had a bummer of a day... One of these days with a heap of little things that in the scheme of things mean nothing, but swallow you up nevertheless. So some need for positivity and bumbing this to give it...

    And also because this is my 1300th post supposedly. Not sure I should be proud of that. Means 1300 posts I spend less time with my girlfriend... Mmmmmm....

    My work comes and goes in terms of stress. Sometimes its awful, other times its not so bad. The trick is, you have to find something to look forward to. Every day. No matter what. Sometimes its just a cup of coffee. Sometimes its a show. Sometimes its just going home. Find it, and you'll be fine.

    Reading all of the negative comments about the new forum layout has become a real drain recently so this thread definitely needs a BUMP!

    I quite like the new layout now, I've got used to it. I won't be abandoning the forums to go over to (the similarly white) Facebook pages, I'm happy here. After all, the basic functionality of the forums/threads is the same, it's just that people don't seem to want to accept that there changes are being made.

    I'm "positive" this new format is not only hard on the eyes but pretty tuuurrrrrible to follow...should at the very least alternate white and gray to designate different threads...lol.

    Pearl Jam has given us a reason to travel to lots of places. This year, we're doing Ireland, Scotland and England. By my count, we will see approximately 6 medieval castles. Castles and Ten will go so well together.

    Too bad there are not PJ dates in Ireland this year....but I am going to both Amsterdam shows........ :))

    Taking a week off work "with the flu" to see PJ play in Paris & Bologna, and then taking the following Wednesday off due to "a blown boiler" in my house, and flying out to Italy again to see them play at Pistoia. Was back at work again in my office at 12pm the following day.
    Great 10 days that.

    Also, that trip to Italy introduced me to the beauty of red wine.

    Oh, and the Astoria gig wasn't bad either.

    Thought this thread needed to be bumped,
    and also would be a good place to share this story!!
    I have a rare slow week at work,
    and since the weather has been really nice too,
    I made an appointment to take my TV production van into the car wash,
    to have it washed and get the interior detailed!!!
    I dropped the van off when the car wash opened this morning,
    and they told me it would probably take them all day to finish the job.
    When I dropped it off this morning,
    I was listening to my Beck / Morning Phase CD and it was still in the CD player when I left.
    HOWEVER...when I picked the van up this afternoon,
    the 3rd disc from the June 27th, 2012 Amsterdam bootleg was in the CD player,
    and I could tell the other CD's had been played as well,
    because the discs were in the wrong slots in the sleeve!!
    I mentioned this to the detail guy and he thanked me for leaving the GREAT tunes in the van for them to listen to while they did the cleaning.
    He went on to tell me they had also listened to the first Amsterdam boot,
    as well as my Lightning Bolt CD!!
    Think I've found a good place to have my personal car detailed,
    AND I can't wait to see what they choose to listen to when I drop it off next week,
    I have around 200 boots on my iPod Classic and it's docked to the SYNC system in my car!! :plus_one:

    I had a gallery misfits day at work today and your detailing story made me smile.

    My positive thing? Well, many PJ positives, but getting to go to the first show ever and my husband was there with me and understood. He understood leaving 12 hours early for the concert, standing in the GA line by himself because then I had to go to the merch line and to the ticket pick-up. And Dave, my sanity was only saved with my first PJ concert venture because of your advice and direction.

    A lot of wonderful people here and love to have a great exchange of opinions and ideas. :)
