Another U.S. & Canada Leg in 2014?
Lots of markets were missed in the fall (Cleveland, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Tampa, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Toronto, Montreal, etc.), so there are definitely enough potential tour stops to justify it (and that's not even factoring in potential appearances at the major festivals).
Personally, I'm hoping for a Santa Barbara Bowl date.
Any thoughts on this? How likely does another eight-to-ten week North American tour leg materialize in the spring or summer of 2014, and which cities do you think they'll hit up if it comes to fruition?

Short Australia tour is already booked. A short European tour built around the festival season is likely to be announced soon. They have purchased the most elaborate and expensive stage setup this band has ever had. Matt has taken a leave of absence from Soundgarden. We may see them tour more in 2014 than many of us expect.
I think it happens.

Why not both?
I hate to say it but I believe 2012 was your year. Although I'm sure they will be back to promote lighting bolt. It can't easy for then to plan a tour with a fan base so diverse.

I'm hoping for and Edinburgh date so I can justify the airfare by visiting my brother at the same time.... But I could be convinced to go to Brazil or Costa Rica......
Looking at the Backspacer tour in 2009 and 2010, they did a couple months in the fall of 2009 and a couple more in April and May 2010. So another North American leg in 201 would be consistent with their recent touring history.
9/17/2011 - MTS Center - Winnipeg
EV Solo: 7/11/11 11/12/12 11/13/12
Could look something like this:
Vegas

Nashville
Tampa
Atlanta
DC
Cincinnati
Indy
Chicago
Toronto
Montreal
That's a nice little tour Could also see shows in Minnesota, Milwaukee, Cleveland and other places. That's a lot of major markets.

They pumped out a bunch of bootlegs records in Europe. And now they're playing bootlegs records in the US. I suspect their ongoing tour will follow suit after they're done with Australia.
If the US tour would have completely sold out, they likely would have graced us with a 2nd Seattle show. I see tix are still on sale for BDO, too. Once those start to dry up, Europe will be announced. Then back to the US for a summer/fall baseball stadium tour.
Nothing but wild speculation on my part here, though...
I like it.
I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan

And before anyone says "New York just got shows"... We sell out instantly and are always great crowds.
2010: Newark 5/18 MSG 5/20-21 2011: PJ20 9/3-4 2012: Made In America 9/2
2013: Brooklyn 10/18-19 Philly 10/21-22 Hartford 10/25 2014: ACL10/12
2015: NYC 9/23 2016: Tampa 4/11 Philly 4/28-29 MSG 5/1-2 Fenway 8/5+8/7
2017: RRHoF 4/7 2018: Fenway 9/2+9/4 2021: Sea Hear Now 9/18
2022: MSG 9/11 2024: MSG 9/3-4 Philly 9/7+9/9 Fenway 9/15+9/17
And I'm with SVRDhand13, they need to play MSG. Yes, they just played NYC but they didn't play MSG so they need to come back and do that.

BASEBALL STADIUM TOUR?
PLEASE. NO.......
PEARL JAM. JUST SAY. NO.
I dont think they would ever do a baseball stadium tour. I hope i am correct. That is MY speculation...
Agreed, we don't need a baseball stadium tour. Just two nights at Fenway. That will do.
