My vinyl arrived in NZ today!

And now I know why it took so long. It wasn't shipped on the 10th October at all. I guess that was when the label was printed. I can tell it was shipped much later because they included a second copy of the album in a white sleeve (from the replacement pressing I guess, haven't opened it yet). That's better than receiving the dodgy copy and then emailing somewhere for a replacement and then waiting again. I guess communication could'vebeen better, but I always knew I'd get it eventually.

In other news, my original (i.e. the "bad" one in the full sleeve) copy was RED so now I'm really not bothered about the wait! :P

No postcard but I'll take the coloured vinyl over a postcard any day!

Edit: Now I look at the replacement vinyl, it looks like that's red as well! Is this what many people are finding? Now I want a black one!

I got my package delivered on Tuesday, like PJ_Soul I had a replacement vinyl included in my package (yeah the mailing label stating the original date of October 9 thew me off...how the hell did they have the original package still? I got shipping confirmation to state it was shipped...surely they didn't lie to me, then hold onto it long enough for all the problems to emerge, and then wait for a new copy to send me? And not tell me any of it throughout the entire process?)

Both the original sealed vinyl (in the proper gatefold cover) and the replacement vinyl are pristine red copies without any visible issues (will play tonight to ensue quality...which one I'll play is undecided at this stage).

They started reshipping albums that hadn't yet been received weeks ago. you need to email them - they will likely say that they will send replacements for the "missing" order. That's what they said to me... i'm now waiting for this supposed second batch (seems more like the original order never got sent in the first place, really). I think if you just keep waiting for your original order you will never get it.

I just received a reply. "Orders that have not arrived within 90 days of order placement will be considered lost and will be resent if stock remains or store credit will be given in full amount of purchase" :fp:

According to their email..."Orders that have not arrived within 90 days of order placement will be considered lost"....their words, not mine.
For the record, it's been 140 days since I placed my order.

Expecting it to be lost and just never arrive, I bought the vinyl at my local record store today. Beautiful edition, the cover looks even better that big compared to the cd version
