I didn't listen to the stream before the physical copy came out, yet I read all the hate, so I was expecting something bad. I was very pleasantly surprised when I finally heard it though. I really like the little offbeat kick drum Matt puts in there, gives it a different feel than the uke version. Nice breezy, catchy little ditty.

I like both versions but I do prefer Ed's version better. I guess it's because he's singing about being alone and I feel it suits the song better to have him perform it alone.

Was I the only member of the club there last night? At least in the pit it seemed, as I seemed to be the only one who got really excited when I knew it was coming!
It's not often you get to here a debut song, so I enjoyed every second!
I'm definitely in this club! I think it's a really great, lovely little song. I also think it'd make a great single which I could see being as popular with the non fans as Last Kiss became.
All my favourite singers have stolen all of my best lines.
Not a big fan of the song to be honest, it's taking time to grow on me, however I think that's mainly due to the fact I wasn't a big fan of it on ukulele songs either.
I really don't like it, I mean I am not happy this is on the record...period.

Happy as hell to get it on Thursday...even happier to hear My Father's Son on Sunday...but my two teensy weensy disappointments were that I heard SBM again, but no Let The Records Play...and I saw Why Go twice (LOVE IT), but no Deep? So in LA they played Ten and LB in their entirety...minus Deep and LTRP.
I guess I have to have something to root for in the future, so it's not entirely bad news!

I never skip it, I just prefer the sad and lonely feel that the single uke gives to the hopelessness of the lyrics. However just watched the YouTube of the San Diego performance and I'm now a convert. I love it! The roughness of the live performance is what I needed for this song. Hope I get to see it some day!

I think people might think I'm fronting a bit here but I am genuinely putting the record on at sleeping by myself and letting it play to the end a hundred times more than the full album.
Nothing wrong with the other 9 songs, just a bit addicted right now.

Not fair to use this since those 5 plus Of He Goes make up the greatest side to any album in recorded music history
