Did Eddie ever thank Andy during a show?
Help! I swear I can remember hearing Eddie say "this one's for you Andy." right before singing Cloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns. I thought it was during the Las Vegas 10 yr show. But I listened to it again and he never says Andy's name. Did I hallucinate this? Because I can't find it anywhere on my bootlegs.

Las Vegas 2000
I think it was: Andy would have liked this town.
Live at the garden 03?
It would be the honorable thing to do...I mean, I'm pretty sure he had to get an 'ok' from Jeff and Stone to even play it. I want to be on the rail when they play it, that's my dream.

To thank him would be odd. Thanks for what? Overdosing? Did eddie ever meet him? Eddie was only a San Diego local bar band guy at the time right?
You're right MookieDancer, when I said "Did he ever thank?" That's a mischaracterisation of the moment. He didn't "thank" him. Like you said, he never even knew him personally. It's more like paying tribute to...
And I thing I figured out what I remembered, and what I thought was something on one of my bootlegs. It's a scene in PJ20. Thanks PJ fans, I love you as much as the band!

I'm thinking Ed was just paying tribute to the music's history and his place in it, but did Andy ever write any songs to that music? I thought it was a piece written after his death.
