Man I've just finished dinner and now feel like something chocolatey. The only sweet things in the house are milo, jam and sugar! I thought about making something but I don't even have cocoa DAMN IT!!!!! Grrrrrr..... I wish you could get ice cream home delivery!

Leigh's mum told me that after she had Leigh, she wore steppings (like a big elastic thing to hold your waist in) so she lost weight quickly. Has anyone ever heard of this or actually did this?

I've never ever heard of these....I wonder if they work? You have to wear them 24/7 though!!
No....I didn't. Sounds like a bunch o' balony to me  Just excercise....take bub for lots of walks etc. I started taking all my bubs for walks the day they were born....push them around the hospital in their little crib things
That is after you've recovered from the caeser

I thought Leigh's mum was just talking crap about some old wive's tale she'd heard but then I found that site. I agree with you -- exercise. I hope I'm more worried about the baby than whether I'm wearing a corset 24 hours a day!!!
I was talking to my sister-in-law the other day who had to have an emergency caesar under a general anaesthetic after complications with my niece 6 years ago and she said she was driving a car 4 days later -- until she realised her insurance didnt cover her for it. She said it didn't hurt at all. On a pain scale of 1 to 10 she said a 2! She experienced contractions etc and said to me "GO CAESAR!" haha I like stories like that. My sister's 2 caesarean experiences were very similar. I felt very relieved after talking to her afte all you people putting BAD stories in my head!!!!
I think I'm going to eat a tablespoon or SIX of milo....
LOL! I ate MILO straight from the tin, by the tonne when I was preggers with our 2nd bub  SOOOOOOO fattening! I got in a heap of trouble from my Ob. :(

Yeah...but just not as much as I was  I started stacking on the weight and she wanted to know what I'd been eating. Of course I told her all the healthy stuff. So she got worried and was gonna send me for blood tests to see if there was a reason why I was stacking on the weight.....I HATE needles n shat myself, so told her I'd been having a lot of Milo. She just looked at me and said "you mean straight out of the tin, don't you, Kylie?!"

My mum had 7 pregnancies (only 5 kids though) and fell really quickly with all of us....my oldest sister was the same with her two. Hope I'm lucky.
OMG I know it seems so young........Carissa is 23 this yr I would die if she said she was pregnant....not really.........but u know...it is young these days...
Yeah its probably genetics, and being healthy and not overweight would help Im sure
Well I realllly hope I'm not since I had 6 beers today!
Of course I'm not. Everything is regular as clockwork.
HOWEVER, my cousin is 25 and is quite a *large* girl (like 100kg+) and just had a baby 3 months ago -- she found out she was pregnant EIGHT WEEKS BEFORE she was due!!! Had her period the whole time. Felt realllly tired and thought she had glandular fever or something and was told "ummm, you've got a 7 month old baby in your stomach!!" 100% true story. My uncle freaked and the boyfriend who lives in Brisbane did the bolt quick smart.

Scary!
Yup.....I worked with a girl and she wasn't really over weight.....but she had no idea she was preggers until contractions started and they rushed her hospital thinking it was her appendics
She was so upset......excited to have a baby (as were her whole family) but that she'd not known and gone through the pregnancy etc; Such a shock though. She'd had no symptoms AT ALL.

23 is young! I had a pregnancy scare when I was 25 and absolutely shit myself. Leigh was more excited than I was. It was about 2 weeks after I'd finished 4.5 years of university + working full time and was ready to PARTY! Had a doctors exam and they couldn't tell so I had a blood test and my dad took me! He was like "look, if you are, everything will be okay...stop stressing!" He's so cute! ha ha
It definitely wasn't the right time....but now we're nearly 29 and 30 and we're like "geeez we'd love to have kids!!" It's amazing what a difference 3-4 years can make.
