After spending the last 24yrs within a 3 mins walk to the beach I could never move away....It drives me mad when I cant see water....
I love my view looking out into the bay.....
Yep....I hear ya! I'd lived on the coast until I was about 27 and like I said...it's was a bit of a novelty at first. I think visiting Glenns Mum and Dad often, on the beach helped me get my fix, too.....but we don't visit them much anymore, so It's been driving me crazy for a while now :( Hopefully this year will go quickly.

are we allowed to read the ebook

you should be hearing from the land of comics soon... yeeeaaah fingers crossed :D

I love that too. I have have this paranoia about being dumb and having a "small" or "average" mind. :o It's my dad's fault. They brought me up telling me I was good and smarter than the other kids etc....now I'm paranoid about being average or dumb! ha ha That sounds worse than it should....I just can't explain it.

Yes, you can get a copy of our ebook for our introductory price of $14.95 US! Or maybe $24.95 US! ;) Still undecided on the price!

Yes, Dark Horse should be contacting us very very soon. If they don't in the next 2 weeks, I think we'll ring them. If they can't give us a yes or no or some sort of indication as to a time frame, we'll take it to all the other publishers. Then we wait again.....

It is about how to raise intelligent and confident children.

A lot of parents don't realise the optimum time for teaching a child socially, emotionally, cognitively, language, reading etc is between the ages of 0 and 3. Some parents don't really bother to teach their kids until they are nearing (or at) school. These kids turn out to be the dumbarses! ;) No, they just don't have the distinct advantage that kids who are taught early have. My parents said this was the belief back when we were little. Luckily, they interacted with us heaps and we learned from that.

Our ebook is about all the stuff you should be teaching your child by the age of 3 to avoid him being STUPID!!!!! :D

I remember hearing that yeeeears ago but forgot about it until it was mentioned today. I was wondering if that's a really common thing you would hear.

  • what's everyone's views on the no camera policy at EV shows?

i'm yay, not nay  only half a dozen shows.. couldnt kill them?
    wah
  • I strongly believe in teaching them from day dot!!
I used to read everything out loud, both whilst pregnant and then until the kids were old enough to read. I read books to them everyday and as soon as they were able, every book I read I'd get them to pick a word out of the title and they'd have to read it every time they saw it in the book....etc etc. I could go on for aaaages with all the different things I did. But reading to children is more important that anything!!!
So far both the boys are in 'Gifted and Talented' Academic programs (have to be in the top 5% in the state) and Maddi is even brighter than what they were at her age, so I suspect heading in the same direction.

Kids are like sponges and people don't give them enough credit for just how smart they are......they don't attempt to teach them certain things cuz they think it's over their heads

People learn more in the first 5 years of their life, than they'll learn for the rest of their life :)
