    I know that....but it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to bite us....so why be worried? Just irrational fear.

    My mother-in-law is TERRIFIED of frogs (I love frogs!). I don't get it. What's the worst they could? Lick you? Jump on you with their sticky little legs? Croak in your ear???

    Could they remind her of toads and thats why she is scared of them??

    I'm not worried about them biting me....I'm sick of the hours I spend vacuuming them and their messy webs up :mad:

    I LURV frogs....we have hundreds of them in our yard in Summer....they're so noisy it's hard to hold a conversation out there :D

    Nope....I asked that and it's nothing to do with toads. Leigh's grandma was TERRIFIED of frogs and used to put salt on their backs to kill them (eventually :mad:) and she passed that fear down to her kids. I think she used to spray Dettol on them too! :( The acid on our hands burns their skin and everyone should at least wet their hands should you need to pick up a frog....can you imagine what salt/Dettol would do? :(

    My mum is TERRIFIED of snakes and passed that fear to me....but snakes have FANGS and can BITE. That's my excuse anyway. Wonder if my kids will be scared of snakes because of me?
