Who knows alot about Laptops?? Any suggestions of what i should get?
My daughter bought a Dell about a month ago thru their website....
It had free postage upgrade from a 120 to 180gb Hardrive and it had special graphic stuff or something and she got a blue tooth or something..
They always do special deals u should check their site out.
My other daughter has had her Toshiba for 4 yrs and its never had any problems except when she needed a new power supply.
Matt has a Sony thats about 3yrs old thats had a few probs tho and went it went to get fixed it came back with a scratch on the screen.............:eek:

The thing's I looked for when I got mine were:
Processor - Intel Centrino Duo (temperature regulation is better in the Duo chips. Get one that's at LEAST 1.6ghz)
RAM - You need at LEAST 1GB
Hard Drive - Depending on the operating system (Vista chews up a LOT of hard-drive space) get at LEAST 100gb
Graphics Card - Make sure if possible you get a graphics card that is DEDICATED. INTEGRATED graphics cards slow up your computer because they tie up a lot of your RAM
Network Capability - Aim for one with wireless connection (very handy because it enables you surf the net in bed )
That's probably the basics. All the other features will be based on personal choice (screen size etc)
