Yeah, it's going well! Got 2 new people really keen on the shop and once that goes we can really get into all our creative stuff.

I'm currently trying to establish a website for him (which I've never done before) so that's been fun (and frustrating). There are heaps of jobs for freelance illustrators out there but we need his website looking schmicko.

After Issue 1-5 of the comic are submitted to publishers, we'll take a break from that and I'm going to try and find a short course in Photoshop CS2 so I can learn the basic of colouring and we might try and do a children's book or something. Who knows....as long as we keep creating. We go a bit bananas if we don't. We've also got a script we'd like to write. Too many things to do!

I'm also presently trying to have my business (real estate/business broking) basically running itself with 3 more staff on by mid next year so we can keep creating. Maybe work 3 or 4 days here and then spend the others writing/drawing or whatever. And get married...and start having kids by next year. That's the plan for this week anyway!

I think i recall even multiple clockages.... who knows... reminds me of kids these days saying they clocked a game... meaning they finished it... not clocking in this sense heh

We fucked around for a long time and suddenly we want everything NOW! So we're stressing about making up for lost time! ha ha Well, we didn't totally fuck around. We both worked full time and I was at uni for 4.5 years etc but now we're like 28 and 30 and realise we should have been spending more time on the creative side when we were like 22 and 24 instead of only spending a little bit of time on it and a LOT of time partying! I have a feeling we'll probably be those people who are NEVER happy. eg I own a business now I'm bored and want to do something else more creative. The record shop got boring too....leigh's like "done this for a year...same old same old...move onto the next project!!"

Comic has to be finished by December (issue 1-5) because there is a competion for Darkhorse (publisher) for new recruits that ends 31 Dec. There are 12 issues in total but we're putting the others on hold and focusing on some other smaller projects so we can get more stuff out there.

Re the website....believe me, it's not looking that flash at the moment. Very boring...so I'm searching on the net learning how to do different stuff but I'll probably need some help eventually. We've got a mate who can help us luckily.

Oh Zig You have to realize that the "fucking around" is VERY important!!!! You have to do that. I know too many people who don't and regret it when they're older

You 2 sound exactly like me! I have always been the kind of person who constantly needs a challenge and once I've tackled that challenge, start a new one! and it's with everything from stuff around the house toart to work etc etc ETC!!! And when I come up with an idea/challenge - I WANT IT YESTERDAY!!!

You'll figure the site out, I'm sure.....the only thing is finding the time.

Hey....Glenn was saying last night that the company he works for want him to do another big job in Townsville (same as the one he's doing on Christmas Island atm). He asked me if I'd be alright with it and I said - well only if I can come over there for a holiday

So....even if you don't make it to the meet up in November, I might still get to have a drink (or 2 or MORE) with you
