    Ow ow ow ow owww! :( I didn't have any other symptoms besides the sore fingers and hip. They were so bad I had to go on steroids for a few weeks because it was getting to the point where I couldn't bend my fingers. I didn't need painkillers or antibiotics or heaps of sleep though. Luckily!

    My hip was sore for fucking ages. It probably took 2 years or so before it was perfect again. I walked with a slight limp for a few months too. Towards the end I'd only feel my hip if I was walking up the stairs -- particularly when I was carrying a load of washing -- the extra weight used to hurt.

    I had actually forgotten what a pain in the arse Ross River was.

    Rest up....if it gets too bad, ask for steroids....fixed mine up quick smart.

    holy shit. i hope its not that bad for me.... i was thinking the joint pain would only last for a few weeks.... im not limping or anything, i still have full use of everything... it just all really hurts. not letting it get in the way of typing though. internet is the only thing thats keeping me from sleeping 24/7 at the moment... joels working his arse off at the moment so im home by myself the whole time.
    I'd rather be with an animal.

    I hope yours doesn't last that long. Note that only my hip lasted for 2 years....and it was just because it was so weak when I put all my weight on it like you do on stairs.

    And my finger joints swelled up too. Actually, now that I think about it I remember my hands aching and aching and aching. Definitely no need for Panadeine Forte though. Your must be really sore for them to give you those.

    yeah its not been much fun this week. i think its worse cos its so cold.... the heat seems to just take the edge off when im in the bath or with the heatwheat.... im hoping this cold snap will end soon and that will give me some relief. i dont like being so whacked out all the time... and the panadine gives me wicked cotton mouth.

    ok, im back off to bed.... hopefully my hubby will come home soon :o
