Still plenty on the shelves in Atlanta.

It's better than I initially thought.

Where did you find it in Atlanta? I had to reserve a couple of bottles at total wine. Every other place was sold out when I called about it.

Luckily my sis' in-laws have a house on Cape Cod and the package store up there had plenty in stock, so I got a nice xmas present.... :D

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

    DEAD HEADS & DOGFISH HEAD!!!
I know it's not Pearl Jam related but...there are at least a few Grateful Dead fans on the boards too!!

Dogfish Head has announced their latest MUSIC-THEMED Brew:

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Grateful Dead, two pioneers who built their followings by connecting directly with beer lovers and music lovers, are collaborating on the newest beer in Dogfish’s line of off-centered ales.

    It's called "AMERICAN BEAUTY"

    DFH_AmericanBeautyFull_preview.jpg

Doesn't look like it's coming out until October of next year, but they're having a contest for fans... we can help pick the final ingredient to be added to the brew!!

Just picked up American Beauty tonight. It's the only DFH national release that I haven't tried!

I plan on trying it this weekend! I would have had it last night but Founder's Harvest Ale (wet hopped!) was calling my name :).

Saw American Beauty down at a place in the Cape this weekend... They had a bunch of other musical releases but no PJ. Have they stopped making it and does anyone know where you can buy/order it in the new hampshire or at least new england area.

If it makes it into NH (PJ20 did not) you will find it at "The Beer Store" on 101A in Nashua.

Haha, I know this place. When I went up to NH to climb Mt. Washington I think THIS was the only place to find a decent beer selection. It ended up being too far from where we were but nonetheless...

I asked a dude in an IGA (a fucking IGA, didn't even think these existed anymore) where the closest beer store was and he looked at me like I had three heads - "A beer store?"
  • An IGA...I live here and even I didn't know they were still around...

I have a theory about my state that works pretty well. For every fifty miles you travel north from the MA border you lose 10 years of progress. It make getting away easy....but alas...our beer laws suck...

This was in Gorham. By the hair styles I would at least put it two decades behind.

You guys definitely have antiquated liquor laws like us in PA where you have to go to a separate store for booze as well - our choices for beer was Walmart or whatever the gas stations stores are called. Think it started with an R.

If you find yourself stuck in the 1970/1980 section of NH it is a much quicker trip back to reality by taking a left and going to VT...
