best thing that we did for the day though i think was that we put ourselves on a table by ourselves for the reception.... it gave us time to sit back and spend a bit of time together... and it worked out well cos everyone was happy to come to us, and we were free to wander around the tables without people worried about "the bridal party"..... anyways that was the best decision we made i think...

Planning is all good so far I think. Everything is booked, and cos most of my rellies have to travel from nsw to qld our wedding and receoption is at the one venue and has a planner/decorater person whom I am probably going to drive mad! Am off to Brisveags very soon to pay for the dress, have picked colours, flowers, music guy, wedding cake person and all that stuff so it's now a matter of finalising the brdiesmaid dresses without strangling any of them!!! Am loving the idea of sitting at a table just with the groom, that sounds very cool. I want to walk down the aisle to an instrumental version of U2's Beautiful Day, so if anyone knows of one please give me a head's up!!! Jase really won't want PJ I don'tt hink, but if I can find a really perfect song and slip it without him realising then it'll all be sweet!!!! Have joined up with life wasted so will head over there once my account's been finalised.

Tulips, my all time fave, and probably roses on the table with the tulips maybe. I wanted pale green as the colour, my fiance wanted navy blue (what the?!!!) so we settled on red!!!!! A nice deep red, not that orangey red. I live in Warwick, 2 hrs from Brisvegas provided there's no crashes on the Gap, and am getting hitched in Warwick at this beautiful old sandstone building that used to be an Abbey and is now a B&B/wedding place. I think the closer it gets, the less organised I'll become!!! The novelty's worn off!!!!!

Sound slike you lead a pretty exciting life, what with buying a house and Joel meeting and cooking fro famous people!!!

I hope ozsmalltowngirl is alright with all the fires that have been in Dwellingup today.

Under my whole house is in 3 inches of water and I'm SOOOO SICK OF IT! Townsville's been blocked off from everywhere for the last few days.

I love rain...but a week and half of FULL ON rain makes you realise how much it would SUCK if it was like that all the time. And the mozzies have already started breeding big time where I am (probably because my yard was 1/2 foot underwater for about 3 days straight -- now it's only big puddles). Ahhh, the joys of tropical north Queensland :(
