and this is all I hear from the unfortunate ones:
"waaaaaaa my favorite band keeps on giving it's fans chances at buying unique and rare items waaaaaaaaaahhh. Blame Pearl Jam, blame the fan club we will keep renewing with, and blame the merchandiser for selling something that is in high demand during a major two leg tour....waaaahhhhhhhhh"
Seriously, I don't know any other band that releases as much stuff as Pearl Jam. I held out on getting LB on vinyl and now I am glad I did. It's ridiculous that most of the people who didn't get SEVENS already have the full LB vinyl and can't be content with that. For me, I'm glad I waited and was fortunate to be around when SEVENS went on sale.

And all we get from the fortunate ones is whining about the less fortunate whining!
The problem is that it was a pretty fine line as to which category you fell into on Sunday. I received an e-mail on Sunday night in the UK, logged on within an hour of receiving it and it had already sold out.
I don't usually go in for these things anyway (Valult 3 Vinyl, Benny Vinyl, PJ20 deluxe) but would have liked a shot at Sevens as I collect the 7" vinyl.
Add to this that I paid for an LB vinyl in July which is yet to turn up, and when it does I'm expecting it to be damaged, despite the fact they now have it in my local (and only) record store for cheaper than I paid on here.
People will always be gutted when they miss out, although not having a fair shot at this one is the real crux of the matter.
Just avoid the threads where people are moaning.Manchester - Torino - London - Amsterdam - Leeds - Praha0 -
Do we really need another thread talking about this Sevens (non) issue, there are already handful :fp:
Can't we just make an " OFFICIAL Sevens made me happy/sad " threadEnjoy difference. Without it we're all boring!0 -

Everyone is going to be like, I am so pissed with Amazon Japan, they let me order Sevens and now they can't deliver.
(糞/kuso) = Shit!0 -
I find it a little strange that they don't manufacture after an order period (like Jack White's the Vault) so that they can ensure that every Ten Club member has an opportunity to own one. But, that isn't the way they do things, so if you get one, great, if not, you need to put the Ebay prices in context. There's a sealed promo Benaroya vinyl box on Ebay right now that will probably sell for $1500 or so. Me? I just spent $1500 for a round trip ticket to Sydney (upgraded to business with miles) and a VIP ticket to see Pearl Jam at the Big Day Out Festival in January. I think I got a better deal.0

I don't like kicking someone when they are down especially when it involves having what so many want. I'd like to think we have escaped the semantics of toddler-dom as fans of such an open-minded musical ensemble.
I do think the craw in many's side is that this was super exclusive and they missed out. I would hate for copies of this to sit unopened for years and/or to be used as collateral financially or in the barter system.
Anyone have 98cents for my dollar? Soap Box dismounted.0
