This is tough, after the first two, but I'll give it a shot. All these shows were great in my opinion:
1. Philly 3 2009 ( Breath, Deep, Off he goes, Parting Ways, Hold On, In my tree, Tremor Christ, Untitled/MFC, Light years, reverse mamasan) Band was on fire
2. MSG 2 2010 (Breath, Im Open, Push me Pull me, Black Red Yellow -- Encore 2 really cooked -Wasted Reprise, Better Man, Black, Real Me, Hunger Strike!, Alive, Kick out the Jams, Yellow Ledbetter)
3. Brooklyn 1 2013 (I know everyone has this ranked lower than 2, but:- Release, Chloe/Crown in first set, Oceans to start the encores - it just sticks out for me a little more after letting the dust settle. Maybe 3(a) and (b))
4.Brooklyn 2 2013
5. Newark 2010 (I know the crowd was a little off, which may have prompted a few drops from the set, but I loved this show -- Of the Girl opener, Brain of J, Glorified G, Brother, Alone, Jersey Girl - would have been pretty sick if they kept the original setlist (Alive moved up to end first set, Porch in 2nd encore, Breath in first encore, No Way and Leaving here in Encore 2; "You are" seemed to replace No way)
6.MSG 2 2008 - Black Diamond with Ace Frehely
7. Beacon Theater 2008 - Chance to see PJ in a small theater; acoustic set with Sleight of Hand, Masters of War, Harvest Moon, Low LIght; Undone in the main set. Great version of Black. Very nice show.
8. MSG 1 2008 - Hard to Imagine opener
9. East Rutherford 2 2006 - End of first leg. No surrender pre-opener. Great set.
10. MSG 1 2010
1- 10/27/09 Spectrum 1 - my first show and won the lottery with 2ND ROW SEATS - also got Faithfull & Immortality - 2 of my favorites I haven't heard since (don't know how I got to 2009 without seeing PJ - life's great regrets :fp: )
2- 10/21/13 Phila 1 - probably only ranks behind 10/27/09 because seats weren't nearly as good - phenomenal perfect show
3- 10/22/13 Phila 2 - moved above #4 because of Wash and Come Back (and my only Yellow Ledbetter )
4- 9/2/12 Made in America - got up really close to the stage with the sweaty masses. Also really enjoyed Gary Clark Jr and Run DMC that day. Had to suffer through Drake before PJ started. Full WMA really rocked and Jay-Z thing was kind of cool even if rap isn't my thing. Nice aggressive setlist.
5- 10/27/13 Baltimore Arena - Really great show but didn't get TC seats and fans around me weren't into a lot of really great songs. Also band seemed just slightly off - with Lou Reed passing that day and fight with Jeff etc.
6- 5/1/10 New Orleans - Jazzfest was a great time and I would definitely go back, but PJ was a lousy experience there. Couldn't get anywhere even in the vicinity of the stage, could actually hear some music (African drumbeats or something ) from another stage during the show, and setlist was kind of middling.
Really trying not to be a homer but my "away" shows weren't as good as any of my "home" shows. If only I could've made that Charlottesville show. :(

Makes me feel a little better about missing Night 1
People were expecting 3 hour shows, acoustic sets, crazy setlists... and well they seemed more like standard shows with a few deep cuts added in. The biggest problem with the Gorge '06 shows was the Gorge '05 show. That set the bar really really high (and it's probably a top 5 PJ show of all time).
I'm still not sure why the band didn't do an acoustic sets like the '05 shows. The expectations were there that they do it because it was billed as "an evening with pearl jam" just like 05 was. Maybe it was the weather. It was some of the hottest weather I've ever experienced. 120F. ugh. I guess the band can't play for three hours in that, but still. For those who saw the '05 show, the two '06 shows seemed average in comparison (Dirty Frank withstanding ..... )

I made the mistake (and didn't learn after night 1) of getting there for doors so I could get a poster.... door's were 2 or 3 hours before PJ took the stage... so that's a long time in the sun... I think i was a little burnt out by the time they hit the stage... but yah it was hot as hell... and the gorge is merciless in July/August sunny weather

Wow. I mentioned it early in the thread... but the true/best pearl jam experience is a proper arena show.
The way the set lists are built... The momentum, etc... it's a religious experience for a fan. Imo PJ20 lacked as did wrigley. Those events were awesome for many reasons though.

1. Berlin 10 (amazing, emotional from start to finish)
2. Belfast 10 (unreal setlist and great crowd, amazing view side stage)
3. Manchester 2, 12 (another crazy good setlist and high energy show)
4. London 10 (great fun outdoors in the sun and singalongs to remember forever)
5. Dublin 10 (first ever show and a good setlist with lots of personal favourites)
6. Manchester 1, 12 (Release was the start of a great night and Euro tour)

Detroit 10/7/2000 [My 22nd birthday, just such an unbelievable night]
Detroit #2 6/26/2003 [2nd night, maybe the best setlist I've witnessed(only 3 repeats from night #1)--definitely a die-hard fan night]
Baltimore 10/27/2013 [Outstanding show, they're really getting better with age]
Detroit 5/22/2006 [KICK OUT THE JAMS, MOTHERFUCKER!! Eddie says this song was specifically for Detroit]
Cleveland 5/10/2010 [Brought my uncle, who loves PJ, to his first show, which prompted him to plan his next PJ show]
Toledo 9/22/96 [Ain't nothin' like the first time...]
Detroit 8/23/1998 [Met Darren McCarty (my favorite hockey player) and witnessed an on-stage haircut]
Detroit #1 6/25/2003 [My first outdoor PJ show, Eddie played 'The Kids Are Alright' pre-set]
East Lansing 8/18/1998 [Setlist was really good and heard Soldier of Love, so that was cool]
Chicago 8/5/2007 [Lollapalooza--maybe if I hadn't had to leave Modest Mouse to get a good spot for PJ it'd rank higher]
Toledo 10/2/2004 [How a show where Neil Young shows up is last on my list, I'll never know, but it does.]
THIS IS REALLY HARD!! All the shows I've been to were great, some especially amazing, and I did my best... Hopefully I'll add another Detroit "Rock City" show SOON......

"That's part of the curse: If you're gonna play the song, you better play it. I've tried to phone in "Jeremy" a few times, and it's tough. It doesn't work."
First off, This is a great thread. Props to the OP
I need to keep it to 5 shows because listing 24 I think defeats the purpose of this exercise.
1. NYC 2006 - VH1 Storytellers. I know, only 10 songs, including a lot of Avocado, but it was my "hooked" moment. My first time seeing the band live. 5th row. An incredible and unique experience.
2. PJ20 Night 2 - 10th row Stone's side. "The word Epic" is thrown around a lot these days. This 2-day festival actually was.
3. Philly Night 1 2013 - Not to say that you don't expect great things when you go to a PJ show, but I was amazed at how strong this show was for a f'n Monday night in the middle of a tour. Astonishing.
4. Brooklyn Night 2 2013 - Great energy. Could see them actively making an effort to 'step it up' for NYC. First time seeing them from behind the stage, also. The top of Matt's head is lovely.
5. Camden Night 2 2008 - Selfish pick for me on this one. Drunkest I've ever been at a show. Belting out lyrics with great friends out on the lawn.
After 41 shows some of the early ones are a blur to me now but my "Top Shows" are:
Philly 3 & 4, 2009
Toronto 1, 2011
MSG 1, 2003
Charlottesville, 2013
Jones Beach 2, 2000
Bottom shows:
Wrigley, 2013 (the weather and delay were just too much to overcome despite playing late)
Detroit, 2006 (Meh show. Meh attendance)
Charlotte, 2013 (Nowhere near the energy of the previous night which was a surprise since it was the last night of the leg outside of a festival which doesn't count in my book)
"I'd like to thank all you mother fuckers. All you mother fuckers..." EV-10/03/05
3. Philly Night 1 2013 - Not to say that you don't expect great things when you go to a PJ show, but I was amazed at how strong this show was for a f'n Monday night in the middle of a tour. Astonishing.
It certainly did not feel like a Monday night. Probably because I boozed it up and had off on Tuesday . The crowd was incredible- matched or at least just missed matching that Friday's Hartford crowd IMO.

Pretty easy when you've only been to a few show but I intend to change that.

The way the set lists are built... The momentum, etc... it's a religious experience for a fan. Imo PJ20 lacked as did wrigley. Those events were awesome for many reasons though.
Release to open PJ20 was magical

EV: Honolulu-4/21 & 4/22/07 [Kokua]. Detroit-6/26/11.

It certainly did not feel like a Monday night. Probably because I boozed it up and had off on Tuesday . The crowd was incredible- matched or at least just missed matching that Friday's Hartford crowd IMO.
