Ed, could you please bring back the harmonica for a song on the next album please? I think I can speak for a lot of people here when I say that we miss it!
This is something I can sign on to. Also, more cowbell.

LB has been out less the a month and you allready wan't a new album what are you a NY'ker ..
I never said anything about me wanting a new album already (it's not spelled allready) I just said that for the next album I would wish for a song that had some harmonica in it.
Try a very ambitious "concept" album like Quadrophenia or the Wall.. Make it all seamless as if it were one song (unless us vinyl people need to flip over or switch one of the 6 records) and have a beautiful reprise..
Just don't let movie version completely suck like Tommy

Is there any reason to think they are not allowed to contribute lyrics? I don't know why there would be, but maybe they just didn't have anything to add, lyrically, this time around.
I'm still cultivating love for Lightning Bolt [and wishing I could "Groundhog Day" the Baltimore show], and we're talking a new album?
I'm gonna let the dust settle a little bit... then start hoping for another record. But, I'm 100% in agreement with the person that suggested the vs./Vitalogy type turnaround. They didn't do too bad with it the first time, eh?
That being said, I've got a request of my own: PLEASE come back to Detroit "Rock City"!!! 7 fucking years?!? Not like I don't travel to see PJ, but it'd be better in my backyard... always is. Cheers.

hmm.
and oh yea.. a new producer.
I don't think anything Ed has ever done could be called sappy. He is definitely sincere in all of his romantic/emotional songs.
Not by a long shot.
