    Fun. This is obviously still a moving target at this point but I know for sure that my #1 is solidified.

    In reality that list is #1, #2-#9 tied for second and the others in 3rd. This album is really quite awesome. The first in awhile that I solidly enjoy end to end.

    The only thing I can say right now is that Pendulum is a song I cant stop listening to. I like the music and the sound. Im gonna wait a while and see how all of them impact me.

    I also agree that this album is one that I can listen to top to bottom and enjoy every song. I happen to like Lightening Bolt and Mind Your Manners. I like the intense sound. The album is like a roller coaster ride, the whole damn ride is fun and exciting whether you are low or high, climbing or descending. Its a package deal and its #1 on billboard.... :)

    I'd like to note that I really like the groove (and Mike's shredding) in Let The Records Play...but the lyrics and concept just don't do anything for me. As far as the last two go...they probably should have just been left off the album entirely.

    Ok after a couple of weeks of listening I'm going with:

    1) Lightning Bolt...it's catchy and it rocks!!!
    2) Yellow Moon...some of eds best vocals. To think it nearly didn't make it!!??

    8) Mind Your Manners...as a single it holds it's own. Still enjoy listening to it on the cd.

    12) Sleeeping By Myself...not bashing it but wasn't really that fond of it on ukulele songs either. Would've prob picked about 6-8 other songs ahead of it.

    My Father's Son is climbing the chart for me. I made a list after my first three listens and it went from #8 to #4. Just a kick ass tune.

    I'm pretty much the opposite on Sirens. I really like Sleeping By Myself. It has the same charm for me as Around The Bend or Let Me Sleep and although it came from a uke song it still feels like PJ to me. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Sirens to me doesn't sound like a PJ song although it has some good moments. For all the hype surrounding the track prior to it's release I was expecting something amazing but it's just not clicking with me and I feel like it's placement on the album just kills the momentum. Sad to feel this way about it but I think it is one of their worst songs to date. It is the kind of song I might come to expect from a band like Maroon 5. Let The Records Play is the other song I'm just not feeling. I can't put my finger on what it reminds me of but it's just too different to fit in. I'm sure I'll have a blast at any shows I'm lucky enough to attend but as far as the album goes these stop the flow for me.
