Short people with great 10 Club numbers: can you see??
Hi there, a kind soul with a very good 10 Club number is helping me out with tix for a show. In reading some threads on which numbers get seated where, I'm realizing that reserved seating isn't necessarily up on the sides (which I assumed), it's on the floor behind GA as well. So question for short fans, if you were seated behind GA section on the floor, how far back were you and could you see the show??
I'm thrilled no matter what for this show and these seats, just want to modify my expectations so I'm not surprised if it's more like a close view of the tops of the bands' heads or just great music with a great view of fans' backs (which I've seen plenty of, so it is what it is).
Short people, please report in!

Anyone know?
Philly 1 - i had row 4 in FL 2 ( basically center stage) directly behind the end of GA/Pit. As i posted elsewhere, I'm 6'3" so I fully enjoyed the seats (always dream of being closer, but I can't complain). On the otherhand, my wife stands only 5'4" so she really couldn't see anything unless viewing the video boards. felt bad for her missing a really great visiual show.
I assume the tix are pulled already by the time you arrive to pick them up? Or does a 10Club staff person pull them when you show up to pick them up? Just wondering if there's any room to request (read: beg!) for side seats, although what I hope for is secondary to what my show partner wants, since they are his seats and it's his 10 Club number...
I'm sure I'll be grateful for whatever I get, but I'm pretty worried about this little issue of "actually seeing the show"...

Thank you, this has me hopeful!!!
And for everyone who was too short/had too many people in front of you, I feel your pain, I really do! When buying tix through ticketnasty or anyone else, I am obsessive about looking for good side seats, because I know there's no way I'll see much otherwise.
Ah well, it's mostly out of my control but thanks for giving me a little bit of hope with the last 2 comments!
That also might be because they are playing 100s of miles away from Denver...
The tickets are already sorted and put in envelopes with the 10C member's name on it, so no chance of switching.
I feel your pain. I'm only 5' tall, and I'm lucky that I have a great number (97xxx) so I usually end up in the first few rows, but somehow always manage to be seated behind some giant. Last week at the Worcester show I was in the second row on Stone's side of the stage, and was so excited until the guy in front of me showed up. He was 6'1", and even being one row below me he was still taller than I am, lol. Luckily he and his buddy would leave every so often to go get booze, but I still had to try and look around him to see for most of the show. It sucks being tiny. Maybe one day I'll get the nerve to ask if the person in front of me would mind switching seats. Ha ha.
So are those your tour shoes JonnyPistachio? How hard is it to pogo and mosh in them?
You shouldn't be shy about asking to switch seats at all! The tall person will still have a totally clear view (since you're short), and you won't be totally blocked. Sure, many will not do it, but it never hurts to ask nicely. If nothing else, asking nicely will help that person in front of you see that they are blocking someone, and maybe they'll try to help you out.
Moshing is a piece of cake, pogoing is easy as pie, and i'm a demon at kickball.
Mid 100s getting floor behind GA (which are supposed to be considered the worst 10c seats)
So if that's true, where are the 300XXXs and 400XXXs getting seated?? What's worse than the back of the floor?
I can see you and Rodman together at a show: blocking everyone's view, smoking cigars, and comparing colorful high heeled footwear!
thats what Im wondering.
I have low 300s and I was in the 'best' section in Buffalo, but 21st row.
I have been to MSG 2x and normally end up back of floor on the risers.
It just seems off that people in the 1xx,xxx are that low.
Where can I get a pair?
And if I break my ankle maybe they will let me sit on the stage for the rest of the show :P

May I ask what approx your 10Club number is?
It seems odd for 100xxx members to be behind the GA on the floor. I'm 283xxx and I'd much rather be in the side seats even if its further back. Keeping my fingers crossed for Dallas and OKC.
04.18.03 - Nashville, TN
06.07.03 - Phoenix, AZ
06.10.03 - Little Rock, AR
10.28.09 - Philadelphia, PA
05.04.10 - St. Louis, MO
09.22.22 - Oklahoma City, OK
I'm 5'10" and it always seems like they put a freakin giant wearing a sombrero in front of me at most shows.
At least with GA, if that 6'7" dude is there I can move around to get a better view.
We (my friend is about 5'4") were behind a group of tall bastards on the field at Wrigley. Had it not been for the screen, it would not have nearly as fun.
