EBT card glitch prompts unlimited Wal-Mart shopping sprees

To be fair to Wally World, they have a consistent "keep the register open" policy. I had a friend that would take the $8 sticker off the snoopy fishing pole and then stick it on the $90 high quality fishing pole. One time he didn't catch that there were two pricing sticker on the high dollar pole and they scanned the high dollar one. He protested and a manger was called down. They honored the $8 price.

What would you do if you had an unlimited amount of the government's money to spend
 It's not the government's money.
So simple and true.live and let live...unless it violates the pearligious doctrine.0

Interesting thoughts here about loopholes and taking advantage, etc. The loopholes that cost us the most surely are not from people receiving various kinds of benefits. I'm not saying that excuses cheaters- no way. I believe in hard work. But lets not forget who cheats the most. Like Bob Dylan said, "Steal a little and they put in jail/ steal a lot and they make you king."
As for taking time to post here on work time, I'm sure that must happen. I do it. Not when I'm helping out at my wife's store unless it's a quick peek on break, but when I'm working for my own business- GUILTY! I'm going to have to have a talk with myself although I'm sure I'll hear the same old excuse:
"But I work so hard and I'm getting older and close to retirement age."
"Oh give it a break, brianlux. Hack or pack!"
What I'm saying is, I hope everyone is responsible for themselves that way. It's not for me to pass judgement. Hopefully we're all being productive in our own way."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

As relates to this instance, I never even thought about those who cheat on a larger scale.
To me, this is about people who did take advantage of something they knew was wrong - or should've known was wrong. It's not even a loophole in this case.
To give a somewhat imperfect analogy (yo, polaris :P ), when I was a kid, there was a home in our neighborhood with a beautiful front garden...huge birds of paradise, one of my mom's favorites. On a regular basis, when we'd drive by, she'd pull over and cut one or two of them to take home (yes, she kept scissors in the glove compartment for that sole purpose). Every time, I'd protest, tell her that's stealing...and she'd say, "Well, they have so many they won't miss one or two."
But that's not the point! They're simply not yours to take.
Thank god for the compensation my dad's over-ethicalness provided
...I'm not even sure why this has stuck in my craw so much. I guess with all the bad shit that happens, I sometimes expect more of people in some naive, idealistic way.0

i expect insane amounts of drive, morals & goodness out of society. this is why i am a grouchy old bastard as i am often let down. i expect others to strive as hard as i have. i myself could even pick up the pace but i am tired & i hurt. i could even use the handicap parking slots but i refuse & park like everyone else & hobble my sorry ass into the store.
sure if i find $20 on the ground i am keeping it unless i hear someone announce they just lost a $20
i expect super hero/super human strengths/intelligence out of people; as in never give up & never hurt others. the under dog is me & i will not losefor poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

this here walmart is a bullshit store allowing thieves to purchase grub with a shit ton of extra tax payers' dollars that got put on the cards by accident/system failure. keeping the registers ringing up merchandise is a pretty corrupt notion in this situation.
i hope this walmart is penalized. do i hope some are removed from their duties? no, heck no. i hope the walmart chief executive officers, sam walton's family & whomever else in charge rethink, redo & rewrite their belief system on how a store should operate.
these fuckers here just stole $$$ from tax paying citizens.
edit... question... was it multiple walmart stores or just one walmart store?for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

I feel Walmart stoled the taxpayers money since They profited from it. As far as bring back the merchandise I am not sure how Wal Mart's policy works. Where I work (grocery store) when anything is brought back that can be consumed it is considered damaged and goes into the trash. They don't want to take the chance that it was tampered with.“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” Abraham Lincoln0

I was more concerned for you eating Canauba Wax. Isn't that what people use for polishing cars? Well, no worries-- next time you're in Walmart just ask them where their all natural organic non-GMO vegan snacks are located.
