I feel Walmart stoled the taxpayers money since They profited from it. As far as bring back the merchandise I am not sure how Wal Mart's policy works. Where I work (grocery store) when anything is brought back that can be consumed it is considered damaged and goes into the trash. They don't want to take the chance that it was tampered with.

corn syrup and gelatin??? great now lemonheads are on the banned list. thanks brian. :P
I was more concerned for you eating Canauba Wax. Isn't that what people use for polishing cars? Well, no worries-- next time you're in Walmart just ask them where their all natural organic non-GMO vegan snacks are located.

nice jab at me & nice stab at comedy.
now go on about your day in your over sized city where nobody gives a hoot about anyone else.
sorry ... but i had to ... what you said was so absurd - it had to be at least slightly addressed ...
ya ... i live in a big city ... but this city also comes up in a lot of liveable cities surveys as one of the best ... you don't get that ranking if no one cares for each other ... but you're not the first person to shit on a place you've likely never been ...

i typed up a couple nice paragraphs for you but deleted them as im not going to derail the thread & topic. but please rename your beautiful city so i can do my research. btw, no hard feelings. i'm a country dude & could not ever live in any fucking city anywhere. y'all city folk freak me out.
cities are a cluster fucker of noise & bullshit. nice concrete & steel though.
iowans are a fucking wonderful lot. iowa's entire population is less than the population of oversized fat ass dallas - ft. worth, texas
speaking of absurd. running up EBT cards with tax payers' dollars is absurd & walmart allowing it to happen is very absurd.

Walmart had a website glitch yesterday that marked hundreds of items down to absurd prices like a $600 projector was listed for $8. All orders were canceled and a $10 gift card was offered in exchange.

So Wal-Mart stole our money? Not the people who knew they had a $200 limit and spend $1000? How would Wal-Mart know what their EBT balance should be? That's just ridiculous.

As I just mentioned in another thread, common sense!
I agree that walmart should take some responsibility. they didn't care where the money was coming from, they just wanted to fill their pockets with the cash. that is greed at its finest.
as for the people that "take a sick day when they aren't sick" and all that other nonsense someone posted. gimme a break. I'm at work right now posting this, but I also get all my work done. And I have taken a sick day when I wasn't technically sick. I was actually considering doing that very thing today. if I were to think about all the bullshit this company has done to me, they steal from me too, if you want to get technical about it.
But I have, and continue to, correct any store clerk if they give me too much change or undercharge me. I've even gotten out of my car and gone back into the store once I realized their error.

Completely with you on this, Hugh (except for the last part - my company has been and continues to be incredibly generous with their employees).
Just a couple days ago, there was a BofA ATM that was erroneously dispensing more money than being withdrawn. From the report, not one person stepped up to return what wasn't theirs.

I work for a quasi-crown corporation, which in Canada, means we work for the government without the "working for the government" perks. we make money for the government, and our expenses are accountable to them, so my company's executive group is ridiculously paranoid about any erroneous expenditures (of course except when they travel and buy a $40 breakfast and lobster and steak for dinner), so not a whole lot of staff perks to working here. we make billions and our staff days are once a year outings to go mini golfing. it's pathetic. we have to pay to go to our own christmas party, and also have to fork out all year so our social committee can fundraise for it to boot!
anyway, back on topic, I still don't get how people justify taking something that is coming out of someone else's pocket.
