    I'm happy with just the four different download options.

    I can't get too upset with not getting stuff that I likely would have only looked at once or twice.

    So it's not day or release. I'm hoping for some word of he exclusive digital content. Not giving up on just a MYM video.

    I'm in Canada. Backspacer arrived about 3 months after release date. and my turkey weekend just passed. :lol:

    they made a pretty cool game of it, you had to unlock clues of the artwork to find the track. and it was an Ed-only acoustic version of SoS. you can find it on gremmie.net I think.

    Can't say I'm surprised that the 'exclusive digital content' amounts to pretty much nothing. Kinda figured it wouldn't be much in the first place.

    I didn't get that memo, but somehow you can get this... I bought the EU release because it contained 2 boots for free to download, I didn't understand why 10C version didn't have this, and I didn't understand why it became available in 2011...

    no, they didn't, but I expected something like the backspacer epk, since they have done the vignettes, something of the sort might have been put together, I didn't expect the full interviews by gleason, richards, appatow and brownstein, but something half way... if somebody uses the word "content", I expect content, they should have used the word exclusive video... on the other hand, MYM is a fucking great song, and that live version rocks... regarding shipping, I live in Buenos Aires and I paid for both vinyl and CD 5.38, so I don't complain about that, best shipping rate ever, I'm missing this right now, and I haven't bought anything ever since...

    Two free boot downloads?! Why the f didn't we get that in the U.S.? God! I only bought from Ten Club yesterday, because the local pothead-run indy store didn't have the vinyl like they told me they would.

    I think you could get those by just putting your cd into your computer.


    Regarding the Speed of Sound, wasn't it just the reward for finishing the find the track/artwork game?

    Ohhhhh... I thought we were still talking about LIghtning Bolt, lol. I ended up getting all of the ones Target and Ten Club offered for Backspacer, so I have nothing to complain about there. Carry on, then...

    It's too bad that they couldn't release a few tracks exclusively... B-Sides / Outtakes are clearly a thing of the past.
