Thanks for the updates Dimitri... well worth the 35 minute subway ride indeed. I was the last 10Clubber on line before they closed the gate at 2:40am and they were still pretty well stocked with shirts, posters & vinyl by the time I left the register at 3:30am. So you'd have a good shot at grabbing some leftovers at Volcom tomorrow. Don Pendelton, who designed the Lightning Bolt album cover and limited edition shirts, painted the canvas below and is a chill dude from Ohio who's very excited about meeting Jeff A, who recruited him after buying some paintings from him a few years ago.
Does anyone have an extra Fri and/or Sat Barclays ticket for this here long-time 10C ('92-'01 & '06-present) who got negged from both the pre-sale and on-sale? Would be eternally grateful and can offer both Brooklyn posters + face value for tickets. I also live a few blocks south of Barclays Center in Park Slope so out-of-towners with extra tickets can crash on my couch as well. In '06, I gave a 19 year old kid my extra 10C bracelet free of charge for the 7-16-06 show at Bill Graham Civic in SF... hoping the good karma kicks back. Thanks, Charlie
Compared to the Pitt and Buff posters....yea, I don't really like those.
Already on ebay for $99.
So far I would like the scarf and the sticker...see the poster with my own eyes....make a decision then. Hard to not buy it because I have a poster to almost every show I have been too. the 3 I am missing are selling for $350 + when they do pop up. So my collection is incomplete anyway :fp:

Hey guys... yea thats all the stuff that i picked up last night. Someone must of took the picture off of the facebook group i posted. Posters are Meh. But i agree the baby onesy is the best merch item they sold last night. i waited on line from 845pm. And was home and in the door by 130am. Only thing that bummed me out is the (black)vinyl i bought had some sort of glue substance on it from the record sleeve it was in. I assume the glue used to hold the sleeve together wasn't dry before they stuck the record in the sleeve. i tried to rub it off but it made it worst and it skips at that point when i try to play it.
othet then that it was an awesome experience last night.... Volcom and they crew had everything very organized and went off without a hitch.. thanks

Volcom definitely had it together and the band let them manufacture more than enough inventory for the line. Per above, pretty much everyone who got on line got what they wanted (save for the Ron English Falla Sheep figures). The top of this thread also said "All merchandise not sold will be available at the Barclays Center shows in Brooklyn." so there's plenty more opportunity for fans to get any of these limited edition t-shirts.
Very cool when there's more than enough inventory for everybody to get something.
I really dislike when virtually the same poster with slight variances are rolled out for consecutive shows.
I collect all the shows I go to, which include back to backs and I have:
Philly 4 Tom Tomorrows
Camden 2008 Skulls
Boston 2004 Dragon things (which arent that bad).
Will fans ever reach a point where we all collectively realize this has gotten out of hand?
I really thought Wrigley would have done it.
completely. people let merch affect their concert experience, like a show isnt as good if the poster isnt good or they dont get one. the band has fueled some of the hysteria, but the revolution has to begin with the fans.
would anyone know if this is still open? i work in nyc and wanted to swing by there in an hour if open. please let me know if you have any info. thanks

Hello Kitty?
No. It's classic art from Don Pendleton, the artist who produced the album art.

Also just wanted to point out that there was definitely not a "one item limit" enforced last night as previously rumored. I saw numerous people with multiple shirts and posters, FWIW. Assuming/hoping this means they will have plenty left of everything for everyone hoping to get stuff at the shows fri/sat.

It was a cool experience.
When I arrived at 830 PM, I was last ( for a few moments).
I was approx 27th in line. Right behind the first barrier.
A guy blasted PJ from his truck 95 % of the time,
& if not for him, it wouldve been unbearable.
If you';re out there, Big thanks. Appreciate it !
We have all seen the posters so thats old news by now,
And Don Pendleton was indeed there, but
we were advised not to disturb him at work.
A guy directly infront of me on line picked up 5 of each poster.
They did not implement the limitations we had all heard of.
One of the Brooklyn 35 dollar tees I picked up had only 1 date on it, the 19th . :fp:
The kicker was , not a single city/tour stop sticker to be seen
and just as absent, if not moreso,
not a single fucking new Lightning Bolt hat, of any variety, period.
Don't know what the point was
other then to be around equally as rabid fans on one city sidewalk for 4+ hours.
Oh well, I got my show posters for the Brooklyn gig. Whoo- whoo,..
For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive

I could be mistaken but wasn't the black shirt for the first night and the blue shirt for the second night. I think they each only had one date on it?
