Philly Hotel suggestions??

Ok, I waited way too long and now need to book a room for two nights. Does anyone have suggestions? Should I just plan on getting something in NJ and travel for both shows? I don't really want to blow the bank. It would be nice to be close but hanging with cool PJ's takes priority for me.

I'm driving down from New England solo for the shows.

    I almost waited too long as well. Most of the cheaper hotels in downtown Philly were booked up soon after the tour announcement. I managed to get a room for $250 a night about a month ago in downtown Philly near the subway at a place called Penns View Hotel.

    There may be cheaper rooms still available west of the venue near the airport in Philly. I have stayed at some of the hotels on Route 70 near Cherry Hill in New Jersey. Last time I checked they were around $160 a night.

    I got Club Quarters for like $185 on either hotwire or priceline, and Rittenhouse Square is a nice neighborhood with lots of good bars close by.

    I pricelined a hotel just a few days ago in the airport area naming my own price and got the Airport Waterfron Inn. It's a little further from the venue than I would have liked (like 8 miles) but seems halfway decent and only $45 per night plus taxes (came to $163 for three nights). Dont get me wrong, this place isn't the Four Seasons, but for a guy traveling solo I really didn't care.

    Thanks all! I ended up booking the Skyline for two nights. It's less than a mile from the show.

    Can't wait to be back in Philly!!!
