Haven't listened to any pearl jam all month and won't be hearing any until Worcester 1.

What I've heard has me pretty excited. It already smokes BS and is trending to top S/T.

I'm excited....I've heard 7 of the songs and although I can't say I won't skip a few when the CD plays I'm pretty happy.

Nice. This hiatus that I'm in the middle of is killing me. It'll be worth it when 10/15 comes. A show on album release day should be cool.

Haven't heard anything other than Mind Your Manners which is good but it wouldn't get near my top 30 Pearl Jam songs. The intro is killer and it is a shame they couldn't have worked more of that riff into the song. Not heard Sirens yet and don't plan too until I get my hands on the album on release date. No leaks or early listening for me :D

That's the best way to go in my opinion. Beginning to end with headphones.

I generally only listen to new music when it is officially released. I have only heard MYM and I will listen to Sirens today. But after this I will wait until 10/15 to listen to anything else from LB. It's always hard to stick to my guns, but I believe the payoff is huge.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
  • only heard mine your manners which is ok, nothing special. How are people hearing other songs? I guess they must have leaked. cd will be out soon enough, so I'll let you know a week or so after that
  • Can't say I've ever been neutral about a PJ album. I'm pumped. I like the first two songs I've heard and I'm a huge backspacer fan, which this one seems most similar to. I'll download it when it leaks and buy the vinyl when I gets to my local record store. Need to know those tunes for Pitts and Buff! Exciting times.

First album I've ever felt neutral about. Maybe it was Backspacer...maybe the 4 year gap...I don't know.

I will say, I am going to listen to the Sirens tune in a few minutes to see what the fuss is about.

I am not neutral about the pending tour. Pretty fucking pumped

Still fired up for the album... But I will say that i dont understand all the hype Sirens is getting... That's got to be one of the cheesiest and most boring pj songs ever.
Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...
  • More jazzed for the tour than the album. Going to Seattle for the first time ... and seeing Pearl Jam. Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Vancouver and Seattle, here I come.

Enjoy 4 out of 6 songs I've heard.

The new single???? Not so much.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.
