i love my baby bjorn it's awesome, when we do the shopping i always push the trolley with Z strapped to me in the baby bjorn and we sneak cool things in the trolley when Bianca's not looking.

and i tell zara what all the stuff is cause she loves it she looks at everything on the shelf and stuff.

bianca is also always reading to Zara, and talking to her and stuff, and cause she,s spent nine months inside B listening to PJ and kings of leon and all that she loves that type of music so i'll walk round the house singing and she'll be smiling and giggling.

Disclaimer: Good looking couple in picture are not me and the missus, they are from the baby bjorn catalog.

haha gotta LOVE people  my faith in the human race was shot after starting at Coles..

you didn't take any senior science classes? i avoided all business subjects and did bio etc.. opposite of you haha

you mean you'd get bored of science or business? i can think of at least 5 different careers (in science) i REALLY wanna follow (and seeing boredom playing a part) but at the same time couldn't imagine doing anything different

plastic surgeon? :D did you watch 'anatomy for beginners' on sbs?

No!! But I wish I did!!!

I've been in business selling businesses for 4 years and I'm bored shitless.

I'm sure being a doctor and going to the same rooms would bore me.

I need to do something that takes me a month or two and makes me money and then have a break, then more onto something else etc. I've spent 10 years straight in an accounting firm, then law firm, then real estate/business broking! BORING!!!!

The beauty of the internet is it makes you money while you aren't working, you don't need staff and you don't need to deal with PEOPLE!

Yeah! They're cool jolly jumpers. I want one!!! FOR ME! :D

Leigh and I want front slings -- what's the point of the back sling when you could have a front sling and see your baby. When I have bubs, I want to see them as much as possible.

My brother has a 17 year old and a 6 year old. I was talking about having kids and he's like "pop them out as close as you can so they get to Amy's age (6 year old)! Then you can do heaps more shit! They're a pain in the arse when they're little!

Ummmm.....I hope I appreciate their baby years a bit more than that, thanks!
UUGGHH!!! Don't get me started on that!!!
I can remember when we had our first and we'd go for family dinners at Glenns Mum and Dads. Of course you get all the "don't do it like that, do it like this" etc; and I just used to smile and nod and ignore :D But the main thing I used to get so angry about was, eg: I'd feed Steven and be sitting there after his feed, giving him cuddles etc; whilst chatting away and if he fell asleep and I didn't need to do anything, I'd just keep holding him and let him sleep in my arms. All of Glenns family would go OFF at us!!! Saying shit like "He's asleep! You have to put him in his cot! If you keep holding him like that he'll want cuddles all the time!"
    and you point being!?? How terrible if my baby wants cuddles!! :mad: He was the most content, happy, loving baby. Never had a problem as far as him not going to bed, cuz he wanted me etc;
As far as I'm concerned, my babies/children felt secure and loved and didn't need to cry etc; for attention.
    Grrrrrrr!

That's why I'm looking at ebooks etc -- I want to be around my kids as much as possible! I do think daycare is good in small doses though -- get away from mum and dad and grandparents for a while. And I understand that in today's times, people have to do what they have to do to have little ones and that may involve full time daycare.

I'm trying to figure my shit out now because I really want to be around them all the time. Can anyone tell I'm clucky? This ebook has made it waaay worse!
Oh don't get me wrong....I have no problem with daycare. Both our boys did daycare, one day a week, when they were 4. Was good for them and me :)
But to give birth to a child, only to use as a trophy and let someone else raise them - it's child abuse IMO!
Honestly these people we know, drop the kids off at 6:30am and pick them up at 6pm. The day carer would tell them stuff like "your son crawled for the first time today" or "he walked for the first time" "said first word" etc etc. The Dad's would go to work and be bragging about it to Glenn and Glenn would just reply with a "yeah, but neither of you saw it, did ya" and just walk off. DISGUSTS me.

WHAT! Cuddles are good! And lots of them. Leigh and I cuddle our DOGS more than some people cuddle their kids.

Did you demand feed or schedule feed eg every 3-4 hours or thereabouts. My mum (who had 5 kids) and Leigh's mum both say DO NOT demand feed because I'll be a cow all day long. They reckon kids get used to the times and will adjust to set feeding hours.

Might see if I can download it!

Don't know if the e-business will last forever. No idea. Next on the list is baby names because there's a niche market there too. Then I'd like to pets and babies -- how you can make then co-exist happily. Don't know. I'm going to be one of those people that will keep trying stuff until I'm a millionaire! :D

I've got to teach myself a whole lot on search engine optimisation in the next 2 weeks - ie making our sites high up in the search engine results so we can direct traffic to our sites. Complicated stuff.

I did the every 3-4 hours, when possible. Both Steven and maddi were big sleepers, so alot of their feeding worked around their sleeping :) Stuff like that is a tough one....what works for one bub, may not work for another??

Yeah -- I like the "idea" of scheduled feedings but who know WHAT will happen when the day comes!

how do you optimize your sites position? i remember vitabrits' leatherback thread on the pit being on pg 1 on google when it was popular  is it about hits?

uhuh! I said this the other day, too: Having children is a privellege - NOT A RIGHT!!!

Glenn has a cousin who, her and her hubby, have spent a small fortune on IVF over the years and are getting to a point of having to give in :( They'd be the best parents, too.

    OK.....gone :)

that's insane.. :( do you think school is being regarded as more of a place for babysitting than a place for your kids to learn these days? someone brought this up the other day..

and from this i mean a parents point of view

I reckon this is why Kindergartens now do full days instead of half days...
Its to suit working parents so they dont have to arrange day care for the other half of the day.
When Phoebe was in kindy we had a choice half or full and I chose half cos it was better for Phoebe to be there half a day....A full day is so much on a little kid 3 or 4 yrs old..
Now at our school they only do full days...
