It beats me why Townsville gets the right to obtain a team in the A-League. I don't think Queensland is big enough for 3 teams, especially when 2 of them are brand new teams, and it's safe to assume that the Gold Coast franchise is going to be the strongest out of the 2. It's gonna be a huge tug-of-war between the 3 Qld clubs to secure promising young Queenslanders

My pick would've been either a 2nd Melbourne team or a team playing out of Canberra

i know this is from like 10 pages ago but shut up.

You would be surprised how fucking sports crazy North Qld is. i think they will have a bigger following up there then the gold coast team.

Think about it, up north you got the cowboys in the NRL who sell out every game at home.

you got Cairns and Townsville both with teams in the NBL and who sell out games.

and on the gold coast they have had what? 1 AFL team fail, 3 NRL teams go to shit, 3 NBL teams die a sad little death.

and now the market there has just got flooded again with the new NBL team, the Titans, now the new A-League team, and the very big chance of having an AFL team next season, i don't think all those national teams are gonna survive on the goldie.

Yeah Fat Cats a bit freaky

It does seem like paradise there :) a little too perfect maybe  That'll all change once the Gordon's invade anyway..LOL!

I think that's my main problem living here - being so far from the beach :( Was pretty much raised at the beach, so it was a bit of a novelty, moving here...wore off though!

    Thats the attitude

This is on my wall and I read it EVERY morning

    Attitude

    by Charles Swindoll

The longer I live, the more I realise the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skills. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

    Nice!

I have this quote on my fridge:

    Small minds talk about people
    Average minds talk about events
    Great minds talk about ideas

I try to think about new stuff as much as I can to keep my mind sharp. I just wrote a 210 page ebook with my dad over the last 6 weeks. Now I'm about to make a website from scratch. Then I'm moving onto another ebook. I need to relax more but I just can't. Work -- work -- work! :D
