    Track four, ‘Sirens’, is the first step into Pearl Jam’s refined acoustic territory. At its beginning there’s just Vedder with a single guitar, before McCready ups the track’s intensity and the vocals rise in unison. It’s an all-out affair.

    There is no doubt about that. But it doesn't drown anything out; things only get intensified. But on the other hand, sometimes I do get locked into this thought-mode. Like drawning into yourself in smaller circles. (E#d would say: like a wave into a wave into a wave.) Aaaah, better stop now. I no longer make sense.

    I am pumped about this song. Based on what I heard from Mike, and I realize that the song may not sound like that at all, I'm expecting this to be a very radio-friendly single. I would love it if they had a song that went super main-stream and people couldn't stop singing, like a Lumineers song or something. PJ is great for the fans, but I think most people don't think they are capable of a hit single any more. Prove everyone wrong with a chart-topper.
