We rang Dark Horse Comics today (3rd largest comic publisher in USA after Marvel and DC) and told them we had Issues 1-5 (125 pages) of a total of 9 issues finished of a comic book series and they asked us to send it to them!!! YAY!!! They said a lot of people send in about 10 consecutive pages or max 1 issue and they were impressed that there were 125 pages and we'd done all the pencils, inking, computer work and word bubbles!
Got to post it on Monday and we're still sitting here finishing it! It takes 8 to 10 weeks to pass through their legal department (to make sure we haven't ripped somebody off) and then it will finally get to the people who make decisions.
Fingers crossed! Leigh's artwork is a lot better than some of the comics that Dark Horse publishes so there's a chance! And if not, it was still worth the shot.

They probably tell everyone to send it in. But they did say that it "may" help us since we've done so much.
We're starting our children's book over the Xmas holidays and want to get that published. And once that's finished we'll probably study up on how to write a screenplay and have a crack at that because we have a movie idea in mind.
Then I'd like to try to get an animated movie (like Surfs Up or Happy Feet) done of our children's book because it's a comedy and I reckon it will be bloody funny!

I dont wanna sound like a big ole tough country chick.... but neither really hurt much at all. They both had their most sensitive spots...like doing the top of the stickman, getting in closer to my inner knee, or with the arm.. getting closer to the inner elbow, so i really cant say.

Because we've had other ideas for movies over the past 10 years (based on books or a person etc) and the majority of those have already been made. So we're keeping this one very close to our chest. For the time being anyway...
