Was also thinking that are we sure the song Lightning Bolt is going to have its own artwork? Being that the album cover says Lightning Bolt it would be almost redundant.

This thought crossed my mind tonight: Maybe the artwork we got for Lightning Bolt is actually the artwork for the song itself and the album cover will be different? They're playing funny games with us this time and I've already been surprised more than once. Obviously Lightning Bolt hasn't been one of the reveals so far this week and we all know it will be on it but maybe it'll come last and there will be a twist! :D

yes! I second this thought Sir Veddertown Sir! Puzzles and games, and what they are for...

Ill sign for that. Keep the surprises coming. If I remember right when they did the Backspacer reveal we all got a link to the Speed of Sound demo once all the was discovered. Maybe we got an extra surprise coming.

Why not at least a Future Days demo or Lightning Bokt since both are out there anyway

Reading what others wrote about the possibility of there being additional artwork for either the song or album "Lightning Bolt" got me thinking. I jumped over to instagram to view all the art so far for this album and wondered:

What do people think the reason is for 2 versions of the Lightning Bolt art work (red/black)?

    Wind this thing up.

I assumed the black was the vinyl and white was CD/iTunes but that's based on nothing

    BOO
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

This is super-disappointing. I'd rather they just put the amazing solo version on the album rather than give it the full band treatment. Why re-use a song?

Either they really loved what they were able to do with the song as a full band or they didn't have enough material without pulling from EV's solo work. Here's hoping for the former. We'll see how it plays out.

4 years working on an album only to release a full band version of a song that is already done? Yet songs like Cold Confession, Of the Earth, or Let it Ride get skipped over. I don't get it.

They should have just played it live from time to time like Setting Forth if that was the case.

Yea, I don't get this one. I like the song, but if we're talking about Just Breathe EV solo vs. Just Breathe with the full band, that seems like a weak move. 4 years and you can't get 12 new songs? We need to lock these guys in the studio for a month and force them to create some songs together. The downside to no longer being with Sony. Can't have it both ways I guess, but we'll see...

I wonder if SBM will be a faster rockier version or just a more fleshed out version of the slow song kinda like what speed of sound was to the demo... kinda hoping the first..

Not sure about SBM... I'm sure the reason why it's on there is because the band wants it on there.
I am intrigued by the other song titles too... interesting...

Is it just one more day of reveals now?
