    I'm really dreading this Summer. We've been evacuated the last 2 Summers, so hopefully this Summer will break the chain.

    it wont take long for the bush to recover. the australian species have adapted to those sorts of natural happenings.... you wait.... its going to be spectacular there in september when all the wildflowers come out... all the Balgas will be in full bloom.
    the only bad thing is that the weeds will be worse than ever.... so start spraying the black berries NOW!
    i have a feeling this summer is going to be a fairly wet summer for you....

    Yeah the undergrowth recovered really quickly, as it does, but this last fire was so fierce that most of the big beautiful trees are completely dead :( It was worse that the fire that destroyed the original Dwellingup......absolutely devastating.

    "I'm going to bed" -- "GOODNIGHT!" I'm fucking asleep...how GOOD can it be??? It would be better to say goodnight to someone who was about to go out? "I'm leaving for a Pearl Jam concert now" -- "ohhh, GOODNIGHT!!!"

    And you read kids "goodnight stories". Arrrgghh!!! That word is going to do my head in now. I've looked at it too much and now it even looks weird.

    But anyway, I'm tired....
