FUCK!!! I haven't even sent it!!! ARRGGHHHH!!! I'll do it tomorrow! Sorry Tig. I'm a bit worried it won't fit you.

Man, we've been so friggin busy the last few weeks. Now we've decided to move out of our rental into another rental while we MADLY try to save money for a house deposit.

Word of advice -- never EVER own a business. Because we haven't had Leigh's business very long and I've decided to take lower wages and invest the rest back into my business (by CHOICE!!), we have to have a 20% deposit on a house -- which means we need to save $60,000 to $80,000 before we can get a low doc loan. Fuckers!!!

Its all good Sus... dont worry babe. Whenever you get time its fine!
Do you have to have a 20% deposit?? cant you get the loan on less or is that by choice... im not very educated onthe Low Doc loan thing..

Nope....TWENTY PER FUCKING CENT deposit or no loan! Just rang up today saying "hey, we might buy a house now" and the fuckers said "no you won't". If we can't prove on our tax returns that we made $X over the last 2 years we can't get a 95% loan. And since I personally CHOSE not to take heaps out of my business and instead take a smaller wage each week, my tax returns look crap. I asked about undistributed profits etc in my business but NOOOO, they don't mean a fucking thing!!!!

So a low doc loan means we state "we make $X" with no proof whatsoever and they'll give us a loan straight away with a 20% deposit!!!! Which means we have to find $60,000 to $80,000!!!!!

NOT FUCKING HAPPY JAN!!!!! Why didn't we look into this shit earlier!

    YAY! 5,000 posts!!!! :D

    $60,000 - $80,000?!

I'm surprised people even have houses up in Townsville, it's so bloody hot up there. Wouldn't a few sticks held together with a bit of mosquito netting be enough? ;)

So the only person missing now is Nossie....

Hey Don Jon were u down in Tassie this weekend??

Before the mainlanders invaded Tasmania and made all our house prices go up u couldve bought a 12sq brick and tile home for 80,000 or less same place now is about 250,000-300,000 depending whereabouts...
60-80,000 is insane for a deposit....

Profit and Loss Statements help but not enough to get us a 95% loan apparently! If the tax returns suck like ours do (not that I've done my last 2 years), NOTHING is going to help us except 20% deposit. Or I start taking out more money for the next two years and then try again. Fuck that! I'll work my arse off and get $60,000 to $80,000 quicker than that! Wonder if I'll get there by Xmas??!?!?

Just get an accountant to bodge one up for ya showing a huge profit. They never check these low doc things anyway do they.

$60-$80,000, ouch! And I thought the banks were being tight fisted when they made us put a $20,000 deposit down before they'd give us a loan. Scungy bastards! On the upside, if you put a huge chunk of cash down straight up the interest won't be so bad. Our interest is freaking horrific, andis likely to be for the next few years damnit!!! You should be able to buy a pretty sweet house tho shouldn't you with that kind of deposit? Out here in the boonies you'd get a freaking mansion witht hat kind of deposit, and 10yrs ago you probably would've bought one straight out!!!!!!
