Can't believe 'Get Right' hasn't been mentioned! That's got to be one of his best?

I wish they would have stuck with Matt's original version of the Fixer....much better in my opinion.

If you haven't heard it, it was on the PJ20 disk (in extras?) where Matt discusses how he came up with the music then turned it over to EV.

Yeah I agree...Maybe they should have let Matt sing it too? As he is the only PJ meember not to have done lead vocals on a song
  • Although he didnt write it, 1/2 Full is one of my favorite drum performances from Matt. Seriously, take a listen to this one at loud volumes and pay attention to his off beats and how they fit in wih the song. Such a unique song because of the drum beats alone. Pretty sick stuff

  • You know what I noticed, pretty much all of Matt Cameron's songs in Pj end in a fade out. I think all but 1 that being "The Fixer". I've always wondered if that was a stylistic thing by him or an accident?

Yes, I know that's weird to point out. I often focus on the small things in life like that.

You Are is the only song that I consistently enjoy by Cameron. He has a few others (Get Right, The Fixer) that I don't mind, but You Are was his Sgt. Pepper's.

It might. I remember there is 1 song of his that didn't, but can't remember which one. Suppose I could go through them all again

Maybe his endings suck and Bredan O'brien made the call to fade out.
