I was reading this thread as some lovely entertainment(& information of course) on my bus ride home last night & got to Cavs post about foliage which I can't see now in early morning rush but he mentioned a 'Bic' & OMG I had to run, run hiding.... the mention of a Bic(a razor, right?) made me go JEEEZUZ NO! No razors in the nether region! FFS waxing is the only way to go down there! Sure it hurts(oh, not saying I have experienced such a thing
), but regrowth is nice & fine & like I said ain't no blade goin near any nethers around here!!
Right, as you were, mammaries, yes they are nice too & yes I agree shapes have changed over the age & like RKCNDY's summary above.<hr>

Anyway... I think a thread on men's junk by era is due... Leeze? you can start it. I don't feel qualified....
:think:So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

I don't feel qualified either
Plus, there is way more boob-footage out there from different eras than there is of the jewels. Sadly... No research material!

[the following is copied and pasted from http://braguideshop.com/breast-shapes/]
Breast Shapes are a very common topic among women, particularly as it relates to self-esteem, breast feeding, as well as the sexual and social implications.
Contrary to most mainstream media, a huge proportion of women in the world simply are not happy with their breasts. Media images make them believe the ideal bust is big, firm, and perky.
In reality, female breasts generally come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
According to media reports from the bra industry, the most common bra cup size in the U.S. was the ‘B’ cup, yet in recent years has now become ‘C’, likely due to the increasing obesity and possibly the increasing numbers of breast augmentations.
It has been reported that MOST teenage girls worry and stress over their breast development, some even to the point of suicide. That fact alone is a very sad comment on how American culture and the media influences young women.
...
For your information, here are some common breast sizes and shapes, with corresponding description below :
http://braguideshop.com/wp-content/uplo ... shapes.jpg (I tried to add the picture, but it is apparently too big. Click link to see various natural boob shapes.)
A - This shape is typically considered the ideal breast shape and size, and usually the one women strive for when considering breast augmentation or natural breast enhancement options.
B - ”Swooping” breasts occur when the breast bends inward above the areola. Although swooping breasts do not sag as much as some other breast shapes, many women consider breast implants to improve their swooping shape.
C - Saggy breasts are marked by drooping. Breasts that droop have the nipple pointing downward. Drooping commonly occurs with advancing age and/or the effects of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
D - A saggy breast with little to no volume can occur with aging or after pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss.
E - A saggy breast with volume is also common. Even with the volume, many women with this type of breasts consider breast lifts and breast augmentation.
F - Small breasts are very common. Breast augmentation or natural breast enhancement are commonly considered for women with simple small breasts.
G - Tuberous breasts are narrow at their base, and project outward from the chest wall in a tubular shape. Typically tuberous breasts are small, and tend to droop.
H - Some women have large nipples and areolas, which can be improved with areola reduction surgery, nipple reduction surgery, and/or a breast lift or other enhancement options.
I - Pigeon chest is marked by a protrusion of the ribs and sternum.

Wow, that was interesting! If you look over the pics fast enough, "they" move
Thanks for posting this! I think what Cav and I were talking about was a type B
Interesting also the mention of the changing bra sizes, I have heard about that too. That's whyt I said I think it might me food-related... I mean, when organic meat is advertised as "hormone-free", what does the meat with the hormones do to you? :?
Btw it's a PITA to buy a bra over here, I cannot relate to any of these numbers and letters at all and always have to look them up on the internet when bra-shopping :x
Also, the other article that has been posted on page one was an interesting read :thumbup:Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
If you are talking about the bra-ed boob, then, yes, it is largely the shape of the bra that was the style at the time... http://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/fashion ... 2j735.html
If you are talking about the naked boob, then I would say it is partly what boob shape is in fashion at the time, and therefore placed in the public eye, but also largely that boob jobs are way more popular now... http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle ... s-50-years ... and they make the breast look very round. If a woman ever naturally had such round breasts in their lives, it would have been when her breasts were forming.0 -

Agreed. It's funny though, when you look at old pin-up pics of Jayne Mansfield and the like, they kind of lifted them up to make them look more roundI like the old style pin ups way better, there is more shape variety and they look much more natural. The modern "industrial" boobage is just plain boring and leads, like you stated above, to women being less confident about their bodies :( And what is more attractive than a self-confident woman who is happy with what nature gave her
Also, what comes to my mind is that early in school we had a teacher who always wore these really pointy bras. I still have nightmares about thatPlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
Wow, I am pleasantly surprised with all of the feedback.. There is a lot of information posted.. a mountain of speculation,,
Two large mountains of speculation and theory
I must get a feel for these mountains, and report back later..None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

kw, your thoughts? :shifty: :corn:
I was totin’ my pack along the dusty Winnemucca road
When along came a gal with a high an’ tank-top-covered load.
“If you’re goin’ to Winnemucca, Mack, with me you can ride.”
And so I climbed into her car and then I settled down inside.
She asked me I’d seen a pair with so much girth and grand
And I said, “Listen, I’ve seen every boob in this here land …”
I’ve seen every boob, man.
I’ve seen every boob, man.
Seen that chick bare, man
She had a lovely pair, man
Of mam’ry I’ve had aint no dupe, man.
I’ve seen every boob
Well I’ve seen
Bon Bons, Bombshells, Beanbags, Bikini Stuffers
Sugar Plums, Ottomans, Mangos, Hush Puppies
Flapjacks, Ta-Tas, Hindenburgs, Macaroons
Hot Cakes, Howitzers, Love Muffins, Big Balloons
Torpedoes, Tomatoes, Kazongas, Double-Whammies
Fun Bags, Gagas, oh, I love my mammies!
I’ve seen every boob, man.
But Afro’s are the best, man.
She’s got the perfect pair, man
Makes me sing a prayer, man.
Of mam’ry I know I’ve been blessed, man
