i'm shocked this wasn't the first addition, i mean the band could sleep at home for crying out loud. i'm not sure what the profit from a single show is, but this is easy money as it's the base of operations and can't believe they wouldn't add it.

Last time they played 2 shows in Seattle (2009) demand was VERY low for the second show. Scalpers were selling tickets below face. We had an extra pair of Ten Club tickets that we couldn't even sell for face value because people were telling us that scalpers were selling for a lot cheaper.

But this time there seems to be a lot of demand. Maybe they announce it tomorrow? Please, PJ! Thank you
There are still tickets available on tm, I just pulled one for a test. Section 218, row 10. :corn:
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

There's a difference between 10C demand and overall demand. I'm sure they could sell out the 10 Club ticket allocation easily. But that doesn't mean that they can sell a full 16,000+ tickets.
I am not saying that they CAN'T sell it out, I was just adding a fact about the last time they played there that might contradict those who see a Seattle 2 show as a guaranteed sellout.
Another fact that lend itself to this show having even LESS demand than the 2009 shows: In 2009 there was not a show in Spokane or elsewhere in WA.
I am not going to Seattle and I hope you guys that are going get your second show, but I would say that it is not a guarantee, but possibility.

All good points. The fact is, the population density just isn't there in WA like it is in the East. if they aren't confident that a second show will sell strongly if not sell out, they're probably not going to chance it.

Black Crowes at the Paramount on Saturday 12/7 - That's where I will be if PJ pusses out -
The crowes and PJ are my two favorite live acts. I was planning on getting Crowe tickets and didn't realize it was on the same day as a possible 2nd PJ show. Well I guess I'll be a little less disappointed if there is no 2nd PJ show. The last time I saw the Crowes play was at the Showbox. Awesome show. IMO the only band that touches PJ as far as energy is concerned.
The only tickets left available are way up behind the stage, it's not surprising that those aren't in demand. Considering how fast the rest of the arena sold out, I have no doubt they would sell out a second show.

demand was low last time in Seattle because of ridiculous staggered tour announcements.
also, you had the one-off run of two shows in Chicago in August and the 4 nights in Philly in October. I did those 6 and didn't really care about Seattle in September, even though I'm close. I know others felt that way.
pearl jam's touring draw is mostly the same group of rabid fans who are looking for a destination run. a Friday and Saturday in Seattle is a destination run and would sell.
